I highly doubt anyone had sex with anyone in that game, but I guess it all depends on your take on the plot. Use your imagination. Whatever you want to believe.

Are we forgetting that the date was interrupted by you finding Cait stealing the Keystone? Hate to burst your bubble, but I doubt that was cuddling time. Also, if you assume that Aerith cuddled with Cloud after the date, even if it's default, the same could be said for the 3 other people that could have gone with him.

I'm not trying to be mean, but logical, and fair to the rest of the characters too.

And I was under the belief the person you gave your virginity to should make a strong impression in your mind.

I don't think it matters if the characters are virgins or not. Their sexual lives weren't explored for all the right reasons.

[my opinion]

1) Cloud: Yes, most definitely.
2) Aeris: Not in my opinion - I've always thought that things were serious enough between her and Zack for them to have made love.
3) Tifa: Oh yes, certainly.
4) Barret: No, he was married, so he's had sex with at least one woman.
5) Red XIII: Err...does he even count? Well, seeing as he's the only one of his species...but then he obviously meets and mates with another of his species by 500 years prior to the game's ending.
6) Cid: Hell, no.
7) Cait Sith: Again, does he really count? :lmao: As for Reeve, he appears to be in his thirties, so I'd say no.
8) Yuffie: More than likely, seeing as she's so young.
9) Vincent: Well, Lucrecia's officially off his list of possible conquests, but I still highly doubt that he could've been a virgin.

But like Remy/CG said, it isn't important. There's no proof either way (except in Barret and Red's case). All you can do is interpret, find an understanding of the characters and draw your own conclusions from what we see in the game. But the game doesn't explore this aspect of the characters at all, which shows how unimportant this sort of thing is in the big scheme of things. The characters' sexual experience isn't vital to understanding them - no character is better or worse for being or not being a virgin. Besides, the characters have far, far more pressing things to worry about rather than their sex lives (are you listening, TSQoH?). ^_^

I agree with HB, except for Aerith and Tifa. I think Aerith was definitely a virgin, but Tifa wasn't.

I don't really know how serious Aeris and Zack were. :unsure: But from the way Aeris acted before, during, and after saying she and Zack weren't serious, it makes me think that whatever happened between her and Zack was innocent puppy love. Aeris seems like the type that would've waited until she was really sure she was 100% in love with that person before she would've given her virginity up to them.
As for Zack... well he was, in Aeris's words, a 'ladies man' sooo... I don't think he was a virgin then, but that's just my opinion.

lol, geez. I just got done with a big post about this over on the AC spoiler board...but it's probably okay to put my two cents in here too.

I think Aeris died a virgin. She's probably the least likely young person in FF7 to have actually been one, but only by the virtue of having had a boyfriend for two years. But! I still think she was, because she's Aeris!

The evidence suggests she had deeper feelings for Zack than she admitted to Cloud and was pretty deeply hurt by him vanishing, but she wouldn't lie about 'not being serious', and she seems to have always thought Zack was a ladies' man who'd cheat on her if he got the chance.

Doesn't sound like the kind of guy she'd just give herself to. (even if he cared about her more than he let on) Plus, he'd have been constantly off on SOLDIER missions for those two years and wouldn't have seen much of her. She never knew what really happened to poor Zack :/

Cloud? Yeah, he's definitely one. I think Tifa, too, because she's so guarded with her feelings about Cloud and doesn't seem to have anyone else in her life. The older characters have probably had fairly normal relationships. Vincent and Lucrecia...well, there's evidence (convincingly put in that FAQ someone linked to here...gah, where is it?) to suggest that Vincent thought he was Sephiroth's father right up until Hojo revealed HE was. That'd suggest he and Lucrecia were at least at some point together.

Ha, I just have a sort of obsession with defending Aeris' chastity to the death. :angel: don't mind me. As it's been pointed out here, FF7 isn't exactly focused on the characters' sex lives, so it's all a matter of speculation.

I totally agree...after all Aerith is the image of innocence, and purity in FFVII so if ppl started saying that she had sex with the guy Zack that would kinda ruin it dontcha think? :/

Yes, not to mention she told everyone that she and Zack were not serious at all and that she "liked him for awhile". She didn't infer that they were anything more than casual BF/GF.

Hoorah, yep, Maiden over the Star offers up some pretty solid evidence that Zack and Aerith never did it, if you take her 'Someone who gets along with so many girls could never be a lover' line as literally as I do.

Though I suppose you could also interpret Zack's 'best girl I've gotten along with' to mean something like 'gotten it on with' if you were that desperate to suggest they were shagging <_<

But you see, Zack strikes me as being a harmless flirt, like Edgar or Zidane, who likes spending time with girls but probably never goes far with them, least of all a pure girl like Aerith who didn't take him seriously anyway ^_^

Last of all I should point out that the Japanese word in the title of the novella is Otome which every translator I've put it through brings back as 'maiden or virgin'. Even the vocal cover of her theme music is called "Pure Heart". Everything about Aerith, despite her cutely flirtatious nature, runs along themes of holiness, purity and innocence. :aeris: I don't think there's a question of her sleeping with anyone. I don't care what anyone says :winner:
