k. So I've been modifying and working on a nifty little FFVII survey for the last month and decided now would be a good time to get it done and over with.

I was born at the Shinra headquarters laboratory to be used as an experimental specimen. With the help of a man I cannot remember, I escaped to Cosmo Canyon as a child. All of the natives took part in watching over me and keeping me safe but Nanaki was my primary caretaker. When Nanaki went missing, I panicked and went out looking for him. I searched for weeks, frightened though I was returning to Midgar. Got word that he had been kidnapped and brought to the Shinra headquarters. I met up with Cloud and the crew at the entrance, but we didn't have much time for introductions. I followed them around silently and listened in on their conversations. I could tell their intentions were pure in fighting to find their captured teammate. "Maybe they can lead me to Nanaki?" I thought. Coincidentally, their teammate Aerith and Nanaki were together in the same room. After they broke her out of there, Nanaki joined their team. He was just as worried for me as I had been all along for him. He told me that going back into the headquarters was foolish of me. Back home we were able to talk, I told him all about my journey and said that although it was unwise for me to risk death or capture searching for him, he was proud that I had made it so far on my own. Of course, I did credit Cloud, Tifa and Barret for unknowingly guiding me through the building. With Cloud's permission, I joined the team shortly after. In the beginning, I never did talk much to Cloud, he worried me too much. Barret was always picking on me, calling me a fuzzy "cracker" and making comments about my ass. But Aerith I felt like I had a strong connection with. We'd stay up late at night, sometimes talking for hours. She explained to me what being an ancient was like, her crush on Cloud and growing up in the slums. In the short time I got to spend with her, she was always so cheerful and loving, a true friend missed intensely by all of us. Moving onward, our journey only got tougher. Okay, I admit. After witnessing what happened to Aerith I was ready to turn back, had Nanaki not kept dragging me along for the next few days. Cloud was starting to seriously get weird, which wasn't helping, and I began to wonder why I even bothered going on this insane journey anyway. But one thing we all shared at that point was a thirst for revenge against Sephiroth, perhaps a nice place Cloud could seek help for his mental anguish. In the meantime, I was learning to do more with my Lunar Staff. I'd had it ever since I was young but don't remember using it much aside from little personal spells before any serious battles. I kept upgrading it, advancing material growth, and found the more I got to use it the more gratifying it felt to be on this journey and to learn new skills to help my fellow teammates. They made me feel important and cared for, and that acceptance was what I had yearned for all along. In the end, we went our separate ways and I made my new home in the tranquil, beautiful Lost City of the Ancients where I lived in solitude. Ocassionally I'd visit Nanaki, my old friends at Cosmo Canyon and always kept in touch with Cloud. Sometimes they would come to visit and pay respects to Aerith. I began to follow a spiritual path, content and enlightened for the rest of my days.
