Meiko was walking slowly back home. She sighed heavily, thinking how stupid she was for falling asleep during class. As always she was the center of attention to all of her classmates. They loved to make fun of her, and she hated them and herself for that.

She looked up at the sky. It was light blue, and had a few clouds here and there. It was a beautiful day.

"At least that..."

Just as she said that, Meiko tripped anf fell to the ground, "OUCH!" Embarassed, her index finger started to move on its own. She tried to get up but she couldn't. Instead, she felt herself being sucked by the earth. She was now falling into darkness, with bubbles of light appearing now and then. She closed her eyes, and was absorved into the darkness completly.

Meiko opened her eyes and didn't recognize the place where she was. She got up and, feeling dizzy, fell on her knees. She rubbed her eyes and looked around. It was a really strange place, and she wondered if she was dreaming. It reminded her of the sea, with all the shiny corals floating at the soft wind. When she looked down she gasped. Her clothes were different! She took her hands to her hair and almost screamed. It was very long and curly, and light blue!

Meiko got up, again, and looked around.

"Where am I? Am I...? HELP!!! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!! I'M LIKE SOOO LOOOST!!!"

Cleaning the tears that wanted to come out, she started walking down the rusty road, when something hit her head.

"OOOWWW!! HEY, WATCH-!!"

Meiko stopped yelling when she saw a fluffy white creature smiling at her. It had a weird face and was almost round. It had four small wings and a really small tail.

"Me's sowwy! Me's Momoh! How you?"

"Hum.. I'm... okay..."

She got closer to it and pinched its cheeks. Momoh laughed and she couldn't help smiling, too.

"What you's name?" it asked, floating closer to her.

"I'm Meiko. Meiko Mishida."

"Ohh, M&M!"

"DON'TCALLMETHAT!!!!" she yelled, grabbing the creature and throwing it far away.

"EEEEEEeeeeek!!"

She was now really mad. Even in this weird place that thing called her like all those bullies did. She felt tears come to her eyes again. Momoh was gone, and she was lost. When she turned around, a gush of wind passed beside her. Then it came again and stopped in front of her, in the form of a boy.

"Hey, you new around here?" he asked with a smile.

He had brown hair and golden eyes, and rollerblades on his feet. He seemed to have the same age as she. Meiko nodded and he grinned widely.

"I'm Rayden! Nice to meet ya!" he stretched his arm and they shook hands "Don't worry, I know you must be scared, but you'll get used to it! Oh, you're name...?"

"Oh, Meiko!"

This time she didn't tell her last name, and he didn't seemed troubled by it. He just grabbed her hand and started running, dragging her along. They were going faster than normal wind, and she was feeling dizzy again, not to say shocked.

When they stopped she fell on her knees again, feeling her head spining round and round. When she looked up, three guys were in front of Meiko. One was Ray, and the other two she didn't know. One looked very calm.. even bored, with dark eyes and hair. The other one was... different from what she has ever seen. Despite the dark red hair and dark blue eyes, he had strippes on his face and body, a bit darker than the color of his skin, ears with the same strippes and... a tail, fluffy and the same color of his hair. He grinned evily.

"Hello, little girl..." she shivered "I'm Gawain, this one here you already met, and that's Kano. Welcome to Sanura!"

Meiko blinked, "Sanura? This is...? But...?"

"Oh, do you know that Sanura means kitten in egiptian?" asked Rayden, smiling widely.

Gawain froze and his expression became a mellow one.

"...Kitten...?"

Kano just sighed heavily as he side glanced his older friend, who was mentally crying in a dark corner. Ray slapped his forehead.

"I'm sorry, Gawain! Forgot about Namie..."

Kano stepped forward and reached out his hand to Meiko.

"Show me your right hand."

Meiko gulped and did so. She didn't know where Sanura, or Kitten, was, who those people were and why. So many questions, and so little answers.

A grouchy looking kid looked around. One second he was walking along, avoiding other people, the next, he ran into a wall he didn't even see. That's when everything went weird and black. Now he was in some strange place. What in the hell was going on?

Tobias started to wander about for a second when he looked down.

"What the hell am I wearing? White?"

He was unsure what bothered him more, the fact he was in some strange place, or the fact his clothes were white. Both were about the same, he decided.

"What in the hell is going on, where am I?" Tobias shouted, unsure what to do.

A loud giggle came out from behind him. He turned around, and saw a girl with wavy brown hair.

"Well cranky, you're in Sanura! Where else?" she said, grinning bemusedly.

The look of annoyance and confusion on his face made her laugh some more.

"Chill kiddo, how about I take you to someone who can better explain it? I'm Sara by the way, and you are?"

"Tobias..." he said, sighing heavily. Annoying as he found her, he needed some help.

"Ok Toby, Let me show you the way! I wanted to see this guy anyway! He's so cute!"

Meiko was standing up, with her hand being held by Kano. He was focusing on her hand when he had to turn around and sneeze.

"Someone's thinking of you, Kano!" said Ray, sitting beside Gawain.

"I bet it's her..." whispered Gawain.

The two friends started giggling evily, when a glare made them shiver and, sweatdropping, apologized to Kano. He faced Meiko again and turned his attention to her index finger. It seemed to have a crystal there, and when he was about to take it off...

"HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOIN?!"

He looked at her and Gawain answered for him, "He's deaf, girly, so no need to shout." She blushed and, before being able to apologize to him, too, he poked her head. While she was distracted, he took the crystal off.

With rays of light it grew larger and fell on her wristband, attaching itself to it. She was still amazed at what had just happened. But kano interrupted her thoughts.

"Sanura is a magical world, a different dimension from the one you came from. You have powers that belong to this world, that's why you are now here. Your other self, the one without powers, is still living normally in the world from where you came from."

'For a deaf person, he speaks very well...' she thought, not really knowing if she should believe him or not...

"This world has five types of powers. Mine is Skill and, for not having all five sences, I am, besides a weapon master, a revealer. What I just did was reveal your powers. In this town there's also another revealer, Anya, because she's blind."

"I'm an Elemental." started Rayden "My element is wind, and now I'm also trying to become fire elemental."

"Mine is Fauna Morphing. I can become different creatures." with this, Gawain turned into a tiger, white with red strippes. Meiko's mouth was half opened. So, it was real...?

"Let me tell you them all..." Kano continued "There's summon, which allows you to either summon magical creatures to help you or be an animist and talk to any living thing; in magic you can either be a white, black, blue, psychic or dark mage. I'ts very hard to become dark, and both white and black magic are the easier ones because its the harder type of magic. With blue magic you can learn a bit of both black and white magic, but not as easily. With morph you have fauna, that turns into animals, flora, that turns into plants, and mineral, that turns into dead things, such as rocks or objects."

"With elemental you can either be a fire, water, earth, wind, lightning, psychic, light or darkness elemental, and gain these elements characteristics. With Skills, you can be a weapon master, which allows you to use all types of weapons and technics. A revealer I already explained... Then there's the copycat, that imitates both allies and enemies abilities, anything. Last but not the least, is the artist skill. Its where you can dance, sing or draw... anything. It can be used for combat, but it's more for entertainment."

There was silence. Nine eyes were laid on Meiko, and she started flailing.

"W-what am I, then?"

"I'm not sure. Try something."

Her chin started trembling, and her index finger was shaking and moving like crazy. She started to imagine nice things, such as birds and butterflies. Then, her crystal started to shine and light appeared on her back. She started to levitate and, looking back, she saw two thin wings on her left side, just like the ones Momoh had. She quickly looked at the other side and there were other two! When she looked down, Kano and the other two were more far away than they should've been. Scared, she hit something with her head... the ceiling. She wanted to go back down, but couldn't, so she started crying and yelling for help.

"ICANTGODOWN!!!!! HELPMEEEEEEEEEE!!!"

Kano pulled her down by the legs, then arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he hold her close to him so she wouldn't fly off again. He rubbed her back and the wings disappeared.

"You're a blue mage. Congrats, Meiko."

She didn't know if she should say 'Yay!' or keep crying. That place was scary but, at the same time, very interesting.

"So that's the basics, but we need to find a revealer. Fortunately, I know one, and I know where to find him!" Sara chattered on cheerfully as she finished explaining some basics of Sanura.

Tobias felt somewhat dazed. This seemed like a weird joke, but it made sense. In a weird way it did.

"Come on slowpoke, why aren't you more excited to find out what your powers are? You just keep giving the same passive look." Sara put her hands on her hips.

"Sara?"

The two turned to the side, and saw a girl wearing sunglasses walking towards them.

"Hey, Anya! I found some cranky kid who needs to be revealed! I was going to take him to see Mr. Handsome!"

Anya reached them, and frowned.

"Why not me? Am I not handsome enough?"

"Well... no actually. I tell you what, can you at least wait until we get to him? Come on, I know you want to play Matchmaker!"

The two girl's laughed as Tobias began to get even more annoyed.

"Would you girls shut up and get on with things?"

The girls started laughing even harder.

"Ok, sorry!" Anya smiled. "Jeeze, and I thought Davis was anti-social..."

Tobias glared at her.

Sara hopped from one foot to the other.

"Let's go!"

Kano put Meiko down when she calmed down. He smiled at her and patted her on the head, then got up again and walked towards the door.

"...Will you explain to her...?"

"Oh, right!" said Ray, getting up in a flash "When you feel ready, you'll start practicing with simple missions we'll give you! When you understand and can control your magic, you can come on adventures with us!!"

Gawain, who was still in the tider form, was now taking a 'bath', licking his soft fur. Rayden was smiling at Meiko, who ceased crying and was now very interested in the conversation...

When Kano opened the door, preparing to leave, a girl jumped and tackled-glomped him so suddenly everyone was shocked, wide eyed, as they looked at Kano, on the ground, with Sara, over him, rubbing her cheek against his.

"PWNed!!!" shouted Rayden, as everyone laughed, except for the very blushing Kano.

Sara grinned.

"Hi Handsome!"

Anya grinned from behind her.

"Sara found this kid that needs to be revealed, but she wouldn't let me..."

Tobias stepped out from behind Anya. He looked down at Sara and Kano in disdain.

"Will someone just do this?"

Sara looked up at him, and grumbled.

"Fine, spoil my fun... Do I have to let you up for this?" she asked Kano, grinning mischieviously.

"Yes, you do." Kano said, coldly.

He pushed her lightly and carefully to the side, passing his hand on her arm as he got up. He moved his hand in the direction of the centre of the room, where Meiko had been. Now she was sitting between the tiger Gawain and a very cheerful Rayden, watching with anxiety.

When Tobias (ooc: omg my kitten's name!! ;_; *lubs toby*) was in the middle of the room, probably wondering what was happening, Kano put himself in front of him and closed his eyes. When he opened them again he looked at Tobias' eyebrow. Something was shining timidly there and Kano knew what it was. He looked in a very serious way at the boy and poked his shoulder. When Tobias was distracted rubbing his shoulder, Kano scratched his eyebrow and the crystal appeared.

Shining brightly and blinding everyone in the room, it attached itself on Tobias' forehead. Kano folded his arms, looking at the boy.

"Try to do something. Your action will tell me what type of power you have."

Tobias frowned, unsure what to do.

This is crazy, what are they expecting? I don't want these people getting near me...

As Tobias was concentrating on his thoughts, a large glowing shield seemed to go up around him. He looked at it in shock. What was happening? Did he do this?

"Whoa! That's so cool!" Sara exclaimed.

Feeling panicked, Tobias lost his concentration and the shield faded.

"Did I do that?" he asked, feeling stunned.

Kano half smiled at his shield. Side glancing at him, he said, "Don't like us, huh? Well, you're a White Mage. The others will explain you everything."

He walked towards the door and looked at Sar, pointing a finger at her.

"I need to talk to you."

When they laughed, Gawain snickered and Ray was laughing.

"Talk... yeah, right!!"

Gawain got up and turned back into a human. Then he explained to him everything they had explained before to Meiko. She was still sitting beside Ray, smiling at the newcomer, just like her. She was starting to really love that place.

Sara cheerfully got up and followed after Kano, wondering what he wanted to say. Hopefully he wasn't mad, she couldn't help herself though!

Anya smiled at Gawain, and then made her way and sat by Ray on the other side.

"So, is that a girl on your side Ray? I don't know if Ayame would like that!" Anya teased lightly. "These nuts forgot to introduce us, what's your name?"

Tobias stood there, feeling as though his world was getting turned upside down. He also felt shocked that he was a White Mage. Why not a Black mage? This world was seriously twisted.

"Hi, I'm Meiko. I just arrived..." she said timidly.

Ray was still smiling, after laughing at Anya's comment, "No worries there, Anya. Ayame's too cute to be ever ditched!!"

Gawain was looking at Tobias with a curious look, "You don't look so happy... Were you a goth or something before coming here? Because extremists on earth become extremists, but opposite ones, in Sanura. So you better get used to it."

"Yes, I am a goth, not was." Tobias said coldly. "I'm not going to start singing and squeeling like some fool because I'm here."

Anya sighed in the background, what a stubborn guy. He'd learn eventually.

"Anyway, it's nice to meet you Meiko. You like Sanura so far? I hear it's pretty here, and everyone's very nice." She said as she turned her attention back to Meiko.

Outside, Sara cocked her head to the side and looked up at Kano.

"So, what's up Handsome? I'm not getting lectured am I?"

"So, what's up Handsome? I'm not getting lectured am I?"

Kano simply pointed to a room with the image of a lemon on the top of the door, "Lemon room. Now."

Meiko wrapped her arms around her legs, thinking about the world she came from. She really liked it here. Around all these people she felt... well, loved. As she thought about it her hair began to change its color. Now it was half pink, half blue.

"Hey, Meiko's adapting herself!"

"Hoe?" Meiko looked at her hair and gasped "W-What's happening?"

"You're accepting this world, Meiko. That can be revealed in many different ways. For example, if this dude here.." Gawain pointed at Tobias "..accepted this world, his clothes could turn black, who knows."

Meiko tapped her chin. So..now she was stuck in a strange world with two colors on her hair?

"Cool!" she said cheerfully, getting up and looking at her crystal.

"Lemon room. Now."

With the most innocent, wide-eyed look she could muster, Sara leaned against the door.

"You wanted some lemonade? Well, I suppose I could use some myself..."

Her look then turned mischievous as usual, and she quickly pulled him into the room.

Tobias rolled his eyes. Though the thought of black clothes appealed to him, he was not likely going to accept this place any time soon.

"I'd rather just go to a store and buy black clothes. That sounds much more simple."

Anya laughed quietly, then stood to speak.

"You really think everything here is simple? Or are you just so stubborn you can't accept things aren't exactly was you want? If you actually tried to accepting things..."

"It's not like I have any reason to. I don't care about accepting this weird place. You don't need to pretend you want me anyway."

"You really are stubborn. Why would we pretend to want you around? If we didn't, we'd rather you just go away, and not bother to have you around."

A loud knock sounded on the door, and then a blonde guy, and a guy with spiky brown hair entered.

"Anya! I've been worried sick! Please stop leaving without telling me, you could get hurt."

Anya laughed, and went to her brother.

"Ryan, I'm fine, you just worry way too much! Who's with you?"

The blonde looked around the room.

"It's me, Jonah. Have any of you seen Sara? She was supposed to meet up with me."

Jonah frowned, but then smiled at the two new people.

"Nice to meet you two, like I said, I'm Jonah."

Tobias shrugged a bit.

"I'm Tobias, and I saw that Sa..."

Suddenly he found himself in the air, floating until he hit his head on the ceiling. When he reached the ground again, he looked at a very apologetic Anya.

"Sorry, it was an accident! I'm always accidently casting spells it seems."

Both Jonah and Tobias gave her matching suspicious glances, as Ryan had a sheepish smile. Jonah started walking towards her.

"You guys have seen Sara?"

Now Jonah was levitated until he hit his own head.

"Yes, but she went to go look for you. She'll be back a little later because she said she would come back here if she couldn't find you, and apparently she wont!"

The innocence on Anya's face was unbreakable. Jonah shrugged finally and rubbed his head.

"Alright. Could you please try to "control" your magic?"

"I'll try my hardest!" Anya said, smiling apologetically.

Gawain had to cough to hide the laughter that wanted to come out. Rayden just ran outside to laugh and would come back without no one noticing he kept running in and out. Meiko couldn't help herself but blink curiopusly, unaware of the situation.

When all the magic spells were over, Meiko stood up and walked to Gawain, "When is my first mission going to start?"

"Hum... Can't do it now cause Kano's busy..." looking at Jonah, he hurried to finish the sentence "..Preparing you guys mission, of course! But you can just go out and start to get to know the place, right?"

Meiko nodded and looked outside. It's was already getting dark and she could see some stars.

"Isn't it a bit late?"

"NO! Now get going, you two!" Gawain shouted and Rayden quickly put Meiko and Tobias outside and closed the door.

"W-What?! Meiko looked at the young man. He made her feel uncomfortable, just like she always felt in the world she came from. Scratching her arm, she looked at the ground "..What now?"

Tobias was quickly deciding everyone here was insane. Perhaps his old world was pretty normal afterall. At least there people didn't have magic to fly around.

"..What now?"

"Now I try to find a way home."

With a sigh, he tried to be slightly optimistic.

"Or at least try to find a clothing store, I hate this white. They gotta have one. Of course everyone here is so weird, anything seems possible. Except that Jonah guy maybe, he seemed ok. Except he was looking for that weird girl, and why would he want to hang out with her? Great, everyone's weird."

He then realized he was starting to talk to himself. The insanity was either contageous, or he was already insane.

"So, girl, err, Meiko, do you know any more about this place than me?"

"Now I try to find a way home."

Meiko blinked curiously. Could they really go back? Not that she wanted it, but she was starting to worry about her family. He sighed and continued.

"Or at least try to find a clothing store, I hate this white. They gotta have one. Of course everyone here is so weird, anything seems possible. Except that Jonah guy maybe, he seemed ok. Except he was looking for that weird girl, and why would he want to hang out with her? Great, everyone's weird."

She giggled gently, trying not to sound rude.

"So, girl, err, Meiko, do you know any more about this place than me?"

Meiko felt her face get warmer, but tried to ignore it. She was surprised that he knew her name,"I doubt it." she shrugged "I just got here, too. All I know is that we're in some paralel world, we have magic and we have to learn how to use it."

She was now remembering her first and only magic spell. She had wings... weird looking ones, yes, but still interesting. And now that she thought about it the sensation of flying was wonderful. So strong that she was even feeling it again. She snapped out of her daydream and looked down. Her feet weren't touching the ground. Meiko grinned happily. She was starting to really enjoy this.

She thought of going higher and her wings flickered, giving her a small boost. She was now even above the house of her new friends and teachers. After looking around, she came back down and landed in a not so gracious way, loosing balance and falling on her bottom.

"Hum.." she started, a bit embarrassed "I didn't see any building besides this one nearby, only what seemed to be a town. But it's a bit far." She got up and cleaned her clothes, no longer with her wings on her back.

Tobias had to admit, it looked pretty cool to be able to fly. Weird, but cool. However, he couldn't keep looking up at her, considering she was wearing a skirt. He looked at the ground, pretending to have not noticed. Glancing one more time by accident, he realized she was wearing shorts, and couldn't help but want to hit himself for paying attention.

He kept a straight face, even when she landed on her butt.

"Hum.. I didn't see any building besides this one nearby, only what seemed to be a town. But it's a bit far."

"Hmm. Well, maybe we should try going there anyway, since those people are being weird and making us stay out and explore. I don't know what the heck they're expecting, especially because it's not like we have anywhere to go. Perhaps they just would perfer to get rid of us. Whatever."

Tobias was quickly growing annoyed with the whole situation. He didn't want powers, he didn't want to socialize with jerks who randomly took them places only to kick them out. On the otherhand, they weren't total jerks, and he wondered how they'd get back if they needed to. It was all so confusing.

"We're running late again?! Seriously, Ayame, you've got to keep better track of your time![/i]"

They were all panting, warm breaths running transparent through the cold air. Elias was bundled up with his normal cloak, always neat and always prepared. Ayame, conversely, had half an arm stuffed in her jean jacket, the other flailing wildly behind her. Irene? Irene could care less, wearing one of her massive collection of tanktops.

"I know, I know, I know, but Irene kept taking up the bathroom and I had to go really badly and..."

Ayame was almost out of breath from both talking and running and trying to force her arm into a sleeve that just would not cooperate. She hadn't seen any of them in what seemed like months. Elias felt the same way. Irene? Once again, the apathetic one, the one with no connections. She could care less.

"It's not my fault that some of us have to look--"

"RAYDENNNNNNN~"

Before Irene could even finish her sentence, Ayame had launched herself into the air and landed on the figure of a man, clinging around the figure's neck.

"I've missed you so much, but my stupid mun wouldn't let me come out and play. Sewing boy over there needed lessons and--omg I'm so sorry, I called you that Elias!"

Tears begun to well up in Ayame's eyes. Irene and Elias only facepalmed in response.

As Rayden turned around, wondering if it was really her, he was almost tackled by an Ayame. His Ayame. He hugged her back, laughing.

"I've missed you so much, but my stupid mun wouldn't let me come out and play. Sewing boy over there needed lessons and--omg I'm so sorry, I called you that Elias!"

Ray's smile faded as he saw what seemed to be water on her eyes.

"Wha-? Don't cry!! He doesn't mind, we call him worse names!!"

Gawain, who was at the window watching Tobias and Meiko, turned around and walked towards the group.

"Hi, Aya, Irene.. And... Hum, you." he waved a hand carelesslyand he turned to Rayden "No time for huggles and cheesy stuff. The newbs are planing to go somewhere and I've got to warn Hina and Hime. So it's your time to take watch."

"No, it's not! It's Kano's! Not my fault he's in the room!"

Gawain frowned, "Would you like us to call you when you get in there? 'Cause we will."

"Aargh, ok. But I'll get my revenge, gawain! And it's gonna be on that newb and his fashy clothes!"

Gawain laughed. Taking revenge on newbies was really funny and Tobias was asking for a good lesson.

Jonah smiled politely, mostly directed at Elias, but then started to grow suspicious that everyone was covering for Kano and Sara being together somewhere. Especially at the mention of the room. He needed to find out, it was killing him feeling suspicious, and not knowing.

Anya however, was thrilled at the moment.

"Ayame, you're here! Also, Hi Irene, and who else? Anyway, I'm so happy! I need to hug someone!"

Reaching for the first person she could find in the doorway, she hugged Elias. Ryan kept a wary eye on her, but didn't attempt to stop things. Laughing, Anya pulled away.

"I don't think I know you yet, do I? I'm Anya!"

During the hellos, Jonah finally started to walk out the door. He had to find out what was going on. Ryan gave him a sympathetic look. He wasn't going to interfere, he liked both Jonah and Kano, and the war over Sara was a particular thing he knew he couldn't win on either side. Besides, he had his sister to watch, who could be nearly as mischievious as Sara. When the two girls teamed up, it was truly impossible to win.

Tobias glanced as the two girls and guy ran by. He stood there for a moment, wondering if he should follow them, but then shrugged.

"I think I'm going to try to find that town. I think I've met enough weird people this day to last a lifetime. Unless..."

Suddenly a look of horror crossed his face.

"What if there's even more there?!"

Yuki sighed to himself he couldent believe he had got top grades in his History exam he hadent even study so how did he get an A+.

He dident like school that much "hey Yuki" Rose called behind him he turned round. And glanced at his best freind.
"so Yuki what did you get in your History exam" exclaimed Rose "not now rose I dont want to talk about it" Yuki hurried down the street then as if out of no where Rose grabed his arm.

"what is the big deal Yuki" "Rose just leave me alone" "well if ya gonna be that way I might as well go home" Rose walked away.

"idiot why dident you tell her that you got an A+ oh well might aswell get home Mom will kill me" then Yuki ran down the secret rout home.
