Ok guys I just finished my exams and am blessed, or perhaps cursed, by a multitude of spare time in the coming weeks.

And I remembered something I'd been wanting to do for awhile and would like to enlisht the help of some fellow members.

GameFAQ's have had these running for awhile now but these FF7 challenges involve playing through the game with handicaps. So for example, Initial Equipment. Throughout the entire game you play with the inital and armour and weapon of every character.

There are many variations and I've always wanted to attempt one or several.

I'll post a link to the topic at GameFAQ's so you can get some more detail on the challenges and what they involve. Post som suggestions for challenges and we'll head thorugh them together. GOOD LUCK!

I've done -

No materia.

Limit all - Initial Equipment, Initial Materia, No Items, No Non Non Mandatory Inns, L1 limits breaks only ( although this includes L1B2 so yay for Clear Tranquil), as far as Jenova Life. Jesus is this one hard. I had such many resets, but also adreneline pumping battles during it, especially when despite close calls I managed to win :D)

Solo character game - Solo Aerith whilst it's possible to do so in disc one. Solo Tifa afterwards. Got as far as Jenova Death. Jesus did this one become hard after Aerith was gone. But it was fun whilst she was around though :) Beat Midgar Zolom solo with her at L13 :dance:

The solo one sounds interesting, though! Aerith kicking ass on her own? I gotta try that!

I've done it all with the Buster Sword. It's not as easy as it sounds.

I even had to use Gameshark to finish the game (is such a bad gamer) so it'd be almost impossible for me to attempt any of these challenges! :lol:

I'm going to list the different challenges (seperately, there's no need to rush headlong just yet) and people can decide which one they'd like to do.

In fact no that won't work there aren't enough of us. Ok does anyone have any challenges they'd like to start. It seems it will work better so long as we start and play through the challenge together, support, updates etc always help.

So what does everyone want to do?
