Leon thinks its a stupid question considering the forum he is in but he is talking to one of his friends and he said that he never uses Aerith because she dies. So do you use her?

Leon does! She's practically in his party all of the time! Leon trains her to be very strong, the only time she's out of the party is when he can't put her in or if Leon wants to train some other party members. Aerith is always above lv 50 in his game before she dies.

So how about you guys? Do you use her or not?

She's the best magic user in game, her limit breaks rule, and she's one of the most useful characters in battle. :aeris:

I used Aerith from the moment I first got her into my party until she died! She's absolutely VITAL for my party since she's the strongest magic user and her limit breaks are so helpful!! If I had it my way, Aerith would be in my party the whole way through the game but...well, you know! :( After Aerith died, my party turned into an all-male gang! :lmao:

^Same here! My initial party was always Cloud-Aerith-someone. But after she died, it was always Cloud-Cid-Vincent unless forced otherwise.

I think after Aerith died, my Cloud gave up on women all-together and turned gay. :lmao:

I used Aeris all the time. Anyone who doesn't either hates her or doesn't understand how helpful her abilities are. If she did last until the end of the game, bosses like Sephiroth, Ruby and Emerald WEAPONS would be nothing.

I think Aerith's a terrific magic user. All the people who claim she's weak are crazy. <_< Initially, she's a weak hitter, but she's very strong in magic. You can also train her hitting so that it becomes as strong as any other party member. I love using Aerith as much as I can.

I usually replace her with Yuffie after she takes off to the Forgotten City, but I sometimes use Vincent, Cid, or RedXIII.

Aeris was very skilled indeed. She was ALWAYS in my party unless I had to train someone else or if she wasn't able to be in battle. (the loneliness!) Everybody had lots of attack points, but what happens if they run out of potion, hi-potion, elixir, megalixir, or phoenix down?? AERIS'S SPECIALS PUMPPP!! That's right! She had the magic that no one else had, she ain't needin' no potion. :P Plus, she was a very unique party member in the game. Everybody was the offense, and she was defense. Without her.. our world would be full of.. Heartless. x__o

What sucked is that when she died on the first time I played FFVII, I was crushed. Not only because her death was such a loss.. but also because my party was completely flat out weak without her. T__T Cloud & Aeris were always my highest members in battle because I always brought Aeris with me. ;__; The sadness..

I agree with CG and Anastar. The only people who claim that Aerith is useless in battle are either rank amateurs who cannot comprehend the role of the mage and/or healer in an RPG, or they are base Aerith-haters who never level her up. The last time I played FFVII, I had Aerith up to level 40 and had all of her Limit Breaks, even Great Gospel, by the time she died. She was kicking ass with magic and had a physical attack almost as great as Cloud's. -_- Not to mention her Limit Breaks consisted of the greatest healing magics of any of the later Final Fantasy games.

I used her I got my magic and there lvls up fast with her, I used Cloud(duh XD)

I always use Aeris! Fury Brand is great for helping the other characters get their second limit of each level. Plus, if you get her Striking Staff back in Midgar, her attack isn't so bad. Yuffie always replaced Aeris as the magic user. I really did like Planet Protector in the short time that I got to use it.

She was in my party all the time except when I couldn't place her in my party. Even if I wanted to train other characters, I did it one at a time because I didn't want to replace her. I did this knowing she dies I don't find it a waste at all, it was great using her abilities to level up my other characters, I had everyone's limit breaks except the final of course by disc 1!

I don't find her that weak physically, really, just give her the item that gives strength and the most important thing, put her in the front row and she does a decent amount of damage. I really consider her the strongest FF character because her Great Gospel makes the characters gods :lol:

It annoys me so much how people who hate her say she's weak then when I argue about her awesome limit breaks they say, she's too strong and it makes the game boring <_< there's no satisfying them is there?

I found the game 2 easy, but because of that, because when I lvl I cant stop..I'll stay in one place for hours and hours just lvling XD

I also used Aeris all the time too! Her limit breaks were awesome especially her fury brand; it helped me get everyone's limit breaks up to level 3! And, her 4th limit break helped a lot during boss fights. Also, I thought she was a decent physical attacker if you put her in the front row and used a strong weapon. I always wondered why people called her weak and said that Tifa is a way better fighter. I mean as I recall (I may be wrong) when you first start out the game Aeris and Tifa relatively do the same damage. I also took her all the time for the double stuff like in Corel and Gold Saucer. :) I also really liked her victory stance.

Great Gospel is the greatest limit break ever! It's absolutely worth getting. Aeris has the most useful limit breaks ever.

Wahahaha I use Aeris all the time too! :lol: (But I also use GameShark.....so my Aeris deals 9999 damage with one whack from her rod.... :ph34r:)

But yes, her limits are INCREDIBLY useful - I was heartbroken when she died - "Noooooo my limits!!!" so I put Vincent and Yuffie in my party after she was gone. :sad:

Those who don't know how useful Aeris is....are missing out on a LOT.

I do....and I agree that her limit breaks are indeed very useful. Healing Wind is pretty useful during the earlier parts of the game when the team isn't as strong yet. You don't have to waste some MP or use up your potions to restore HP in battle. (of course if you're dying already, you have to use them but then again if Healing wind comes up, that's what I use)

And yes, Great Gospel is cool too.

Its too bad they never gave you a decent boss to use Great Gospel against. The thing with Leon is, when it comes to RPGs, he's a perfectionist so he has to use every character to the full extent! He still haven't completely FFVI! TOO MANY CHARACTERS!

Of course I used her! :D I used her 'normally' the first time I played FF7, since I rotate the characters based on their levels; I never left her out. The second time I played FF7 I stayed in the Junon forests for a while and leveled up her limit breaks on the monsters there that come in groups of 5+. Great Gospel was fantastic. I sure wish I could have used that in all the Weapon fights and in Sephy's fight at the end... It felt weird playing a game without a white mage. Something is very wrong when all your characters are for offense...

Ahh i used her the moment i got her! Even though she was weak at first, it was a challenge to build it up. Her limit breaks became very helpful!

*Nods* I used her, Cloud and Tifa, for the sake of controversy. XD But when I got VIncent, Tifa got kicked out....mwahaha. XD I didn't realize you could change limit breaks until AFTER she died, but Healing Wind is love. :)

I always use her. I love trying to make her as strong as I can before she dies... :sad:
Her magic is extremely helpful, and since I just restarted my game, HealingWind is a loads of help.

I use her as much as possible. In fact she is always with me except when she is saved from that Shinra mansion and we've got to fight against that awful machine after motorcycle thing :P

I always used her for as long as I could! She was extremely useful with her great magic power, her limit breaks were super useful, plus I beefed her up real nice and had her master Deathblow as well! ^_^
Her and Cloud were my strongest people out of the entire group so of course I used her all the time ^_^

Embarrassingly, I never was able to use Aerith's 'Great Gospel' until now. :(

But, ever since I was able to have her as my party, I always used her! :P
I hardly used Tifa, only when I felt like I have to train her or she has to be
included in some event. But my party was most likely, Cloud, Aerith, and Nanaki in
the first part of the game, and as soon as I got Yuffie, it started to be Cloud,
Aerith, and Yuffie. Of course, I used other characters,too, but I always put Cloud and Aerith together, side-by-side ^ ^

She may not be strong physically, but her magic levels and her healing powers
are awesome! I am always saved by her 'Healing Wind' 'Seal Evil'..etc. limits.
She also had the highest MP in my party! I also like her victory pose(dance?), I
think it's cute. :D

As to the date scene, I don't even have to mention it, it's always Aerith. ^ ^
To be honest, I AM somewhat curious of how the other date scenes look like
cause I've never seen it. But, I've heard that in order to experience other date
scenes, you have to be cruel and mean to Aerith. And I possibly can't do that!
It is impossible for me to be mean to Aerith! I mean, how could anyone
be!!? She is just so adorable! I sometimes get the urge to push Cloud away and
take his place as being her lover. :sweat:

I ALWAYS had Aerith in my party....even if I had to level up others....I had Aerith Cloud & Red as my default and Aeris/Cloud/specialevent character 4 those little events that require a specific character and Aerith/Cloud/whatever character needing levelups...(exept tifa...I NEVER used tifa....exept when I had to <_< )

Aerith died STRONGER than even my Cloud....yeah for reals...I have a file to prove it!! Strenght,magic EVERYTHING...well probably exept 4 luck or something like that :boxing: :superman:
