The anime that's based on Akira Kurosawa's masterpiece Seven Samurai (one of my favorite movies of all time ^^). I've just recently starting to see this series, and as always, it didn't fail to make me like the same characters from the movie, so I guess that's a plus. Specifically Kanbei and Kikuchiyo. Kyuzou's my new bishie though XD, and Katsuhiro's pretty well done character.

Though I didn't like the original character Kirara at first (conviniently making her Katsuhiro's love interest, I might add)... she started to warm up for me as the story progressed.

The theme of the movie is still the same, though added artistic lisence to the overall look on it, the Nobuseri, for example, and even though I really felt strange with the idea of guys fighting off hordes of giant robots, it worked in this time around.

Anyway, has anyone seen this? I'm kind of disappointed there's not enough shrines for it.

I've only seen 13 episodes and that's when the war was actually going to start darn it.. I should download the rest of the series sometime because it is indeed quite good. Not to mention, music were beautifully composed <3

I have not yet seen the movie but I've seen the previews and it was pretty neat.

As far as character go, I'll have to say that Katsushiro is my favorite :D other than Gorobei, who has quite the humour.

i watched it before but not the whole thing. but the war already started so around there.... :P
