It's an Aeris Tribute video titled "God's Hands" and is about 45MB. I tried around with effects without making it only effects.

I tried to contrast Aeris dead with what she achieved at the end, hinting at a possible ressurection (or rather her "coming back") between the lines, with the Cleris part right in the beginning and at the end of the video.

The song is "Hands" by Jewel and here are the lyrics:

The video's brilliant, Stern! :hyper: I'll never look at that song as anything less than Cleris again! I really liked how you managed to use the few FMVs with Aerith so skillfully too. And how you superimposed the White Materia over her face... It's all great! :fangirl:

What did you use to extract your FMVs? I'm trying to make a (very short) video of my own using the AC movie, but can't seem to find the program that will extract the video without the audio. :(

I'm sorry but since I'm pretty knew there, I fear I won't be able to help you that much. I used Windows Movie Maker where you just decided which sound you wanted to be heard - that of the videos or that of the song you used. In my first video (btw. it didn't get lost :woot: during my computer crash, I still have a very old version of it *dance* ) I even used the grafics from other videos :blush: . For this one I used the videos from my FFVII CD but on the PC version all of these are openly on the CD so you don't have to extract it.

I found a brilliant fanfiction using this song and ever since this is an Aeris/Cleris-song for me. Imagine an Aeris story starting with the words "If I could tell the world just one thing it would be that we're all ok"- this was so Aeris for me. It's so sad and beautiful...

Oh, I'm glad you found a way. It's so stupid if all your good ideas are wasted just because you can't get the footage or the programs to work they way you want it to.

I'm thinking about it but I don't know...It's not nearly as good as this one, even from my point of view. I was learning how to make overlays in the very last scene, so I just went from line to line of the lyrics during the video. It's a solid work but nothing special or creative. Maybe I can upload it just for comparison :lol: .

:huggle: Ah, I hope you'll find better videos than that... and post them here so we can download them :devil: . It's rather hard to find Aeris videos that stay close on topic, It's so good that we have more Aeris scenes now that AC is on the net.

That's what I thought, too. I usually don't like optimistic songs - I'm more for the sad and tragic ones - but this one is great and fits her character so well. The only other positiv song I have and love is, of course, "Pure Heart". Even though I have to admit that Pure Hearts lyrics seem to belong to FFXs storyline, it certainly fits Aeris character, too.
