Until now I saw Aerith, Leon, Yuffie and Cid and of course Sora, Donald and Goofy, there's a scene where only Aerith and Sora talk (non-optional) but I don't know what the hell they aer saying since it's in Japanese :P

The scans showed that both Aerith and Cloud lose their memories, though. But if Aerith is talking to Sora, I wonder if it's like her talk with Sora in Final Mix, where she asks Sora if he's seen a spiky-haired guy in the coliseum? :rolleyes:

You see her early in the game, in Traverse town, though the navigation system IS CRAP, like you go to a door and nede to select a certain card to proceed O_O;;

She was talking about, since the town is an illusion created out of Sora's memories, that she (and the others) are illusions as well and that he should be careful of memories and not lose sight of what's important. Sora wonders if that's why she just seemed to disappear after they spoke. No one's mentioned Cloud in Traverse Town (unless Yuffie did in the one line I accidently skipped past).

It think Sora's victory pose when he levels up looks rather Cloud like :lol:

Both Cloud and Aerith look wonderful! I really want to get this game now, which means buying a GBA! :lol: Lookit their facial expressions! Cloud with his eyes closed... he looks so sad! And he's all blacked out in that first pic of he and Hades.

I was just trying the level with Cloud :lol: I didn't plan on playing much, I don't like having to use a keyboard since it hurts my hand (and playing COM well involves lots of using the sholder buttons, which I'm not finding easy on a keyboard). The harder battles (like boss fights) are killing my wrists >_<

Wee! Thank you thank you. I just stopped playing a while now because I'm not freaking understanding ANYTHING. it really pains me you know, all those weird symbols and sad faces, and I don't understand a thing, i just defeated Hades and now I'm going to Wonderland...but I dont feel like to :P

I had to fight Hades about 5 times before I could beat him XP I might try Halloween Town and then stop until I can buy the game... and a Gameboy :lol:

He doesn't mention anyone, or say anything about what memories he wants to get back or what he remembers. He seems a lot like his KH self, except trying to get his memories back instead of looking for his light.

Memories seems to be a recurring theme in the title's Nojima worked on lately (FFX-2, Advent Children, COM).

Yay, the game's cool. It probably would be pretty annoying to play on the keyboard. Yay for my usb converter, i can play with a psx controller... =D

Cloud's summon (the one he throws at you) is pretty powerful as well, he does Cross Slash (I think? It's his second Lv.1 Limit Break). Although the one I got was a rather low number (4) so it's easy for the enemy to get a Card Break (the the card's number is the same as or higher than the current card in the middle of the screen, which stops and cancels out it's effect).

Is it alright to just talk about Cloud's appearence in COM and not anything related to Cloud/Aerith?

Humm humm...now I just need to wait for the english version. I am tempted to download the Japanese version but I hate playing games I do not understand. Although seeing Aerith and Cloud might be enough as they are the reason why I am interested about this game in the first place, so maybe I don't need to understand anything. ^_^

They are just trying to make more profit by spreading their games on several platforms and thus getting a wider audience. I wouldn't be surprised if someday in the future they would release their main FF series on all platforms. I wonder how long Sony can keep others from getting their filthy hands on Final Fantasy. Sure, Gamecube got Crystal Chronicles but I would hardly call that a real Final Fantasy game even though it had the words Final Fantasy in it's name.

I think that's a good interpretation of it, Clorith... but Square obviously didn't want Cloud to be a playable character in the game, either. They only give him to us for brief periods of time with the Cloud summons.

I can't wait to learn how he gets together with Aerith in the game, and if they remember one another deep in their hearts! I'm certain that will happen at some point, but I want to know how it happens! *squee*

It should be no surprise, Aerith was always few steps ahead of everyone else in FFVII and it should be no different in this game. Ahh! Aerith is so wise and beautiful...no wonder Cloud is so madly in love with her. :)

Oh! I stopped playing the game and I'm going to wait for the US version, it's no fun when you don't understand nothing of what the characters are saying, I've been watching the GameFAQS boards and they are posting stuff like they finished the game and 10 hours plus 4 hours of Riku's Reverse Rebirth thingy, looks like it's an easy game to complete'

Sora told her the town was created from his memories, so I think she guessed it from that. But she does have powers for sensing things, before you even see her Yuffie and Leon mention her having sensed something.

How far have you gotten through the game, wilhelm? I suspect that a Cleris scene like the one in KH will come at the very end of CoM, although something might be hinted earlier, too. It also sorta bothers me that Cloud is back at the Coliseum after he supposedly got back together with Aerith in KH. Why didn't she go with him, or why didn't he stay with her? Do they bother to explain that? :unsure:

Or... if this town is from Sora's memories... is what Sora seeing unreal? Are Leon, Aerith, Cloud, Cid, and Yuffie actually still in Hollow Bastion together? :blink:

I played about 3 worlds (after Traverse Town you can choose the ones you want to go to, I went to Olympus and Halloween Town, and the first part of Monstro). I stopped them because I got tired of playing on a keyboard, although nothing to do with not liking the game or anything :lol:

Some spoilers about (what I think so far) the worlds:

I don't think it's the real worlds, they're just illusions made from Sora's memories, the castle and Namine. But I didn't really get far enough to see much of Nanime, she's only appeared 2~3 times (once or twice sitting in a chair drawing, and then when Sora was remembering Kairi and suddendly she started changing into Nanime). Sora didn't think Aerith and the others were illusions, but that was only the first world and he still doesn't know much about what's going on.

So it could be that Cloud and Aerith are actually still together in Hollow Bastion? That's the only thing that's been bothering me... why Cloud would leave Aerith to go back to the Coliseum. Of course, Cloud would want to participate in the tournaments there, but wouldn't Aerith go with him? Squall also told Sora in KH that they wouldn't be able to travel between worlds once the worlds were restored because the gummi ships wouldn't work or something... so I was trying to figure out how they got separated. If the worlds here are all created from Sora's memories, that explains it. :rolleyes:

That's what I was thinking, that the worlds you see are imperfect versions created through/rewritten by Nanime and everyone else are still back where they should be. But I only played the beginning, so maybe it isn't anything like that at all :lol:
