I think the problem is that it's the MSWMM file. That would be the creation file for Microsoft Windows Movie Maker, if I'm not mistaken. So it only works on the computer where the file was created, because it's really just a file to tell Movie Maker which clips on that specific computer and the order of them, etc. The movie needs to be produced in something like WMV to be playable by others. Someone once had that problem with a video they sent me for a HP website. I think the command is something like Make Movie. (I used a different program, so I'm not sure the exact wording in MSWMM.) :huggle: If you have a question about the program, I can probably find out for you though.

I use Sony Screenblast Movie Studio. I'm not sure if that would help you, because all the video programs have a learning curve. It was about 100 dollars when I bought it at Best Buy, but in many ways it's pretty much comparable to Movie Maker in the features from what I hear. So Movie Maker isn't really such a bad entry level program (Movie Studio is also considered entry level) You probably won't be getting much more in transitions or special effects if you switch. I have to admit that I like Movie Studio's interface much better than Movie Maker's though. Plus, Movie Maker freezes on my system, which is another reason I don't use it. A friend of mine uses Movie Maker with no problems on his newer computer, but it took him a little time to learn the commands and shortcuts in it. The most popular of the higher-end programs from the folks that I know is Adobe Premiere. Anyhow, this is what you need to do in Movie Maker to get the file so that we can see it.

Open the project,

select "File",

then select "Save Movie File" instead of "Save Project"

I think after that you should be able to select what kind of format you want to save it in.

Quick question! Are your clips MPG or AVI? It makes a difference in what you need to do to compress it into a smaller file like a WMV. IF you're using AVI clips to make your video, you can just select WMV with no problem. If they're MPG clips you have to use an extra step to keep the timing from getting messed up. I'll explain it if you need it, but I just don't want to overload you with info if you don't.

Good luck, and if you have any questions I'll do my best to help.
