FF7AC Reunion have uploaded screenshots from a commercial which was recently aired in japan. In them you can see never previously shown footage from Cloud, Kadaj, Yazoo and Sephiroth, as well as some scenes from older trailers.

Those might be the effects of Geostigma, that are killing him.

I had to stop and look at Sephy for a minute. It was kinda shocking to see him like that. Then I saw the pic of him where he's like lunging at something (Cloud maybe) and then I laughed because all you could mainly see was his forehead. :woot:

They gave Sephiroth higher bangs since the first pictures of him in AC were released. So awesome. ^_^

It looks to me like he's been wounded in battle rather than suffering from the effects of Geostigma.

Yup yup. It looks like Yazoo shot his goggles off, and the bullet nicked him slightly. In the words of Geostigma, "Yazoo can shoot a needle in a haystack." :lol:

I just downloaded the commercial, and I was trying to get a pic of where Cloud and Sephy's swords clash. I haven't gotten a pic of it yet, but the sleeping forest is behind them at that moment. If you pause it at about 00:10, you can see it.... and Cloud is suddenly on the right. :ermm:

I think it's a separate scene, it should be the one where Cloud fights Loz.



You could try watching it frame-by-frame in Virtual Dub. :)

I was assuming it was a separate scene. ;) I just found it curious that it suddenly switches to the Sleeping Forest in the background. I don't think it's when Cloud's fighting Loz in the Sleeping Forest, coz Cloud is on the left in that scene and it doesn't take place in the area where the trees are glowing white.

Sephiroth's new design is much better. He's officialy not ugly anymore.

It's a shame that commercial is so darn short... Oh well, new footage is always good, no matter what the length!

Sephy looks brilliant! Compared to how he looked like a drag queen before. I love that they adjusted his bangs to more like they looked like in the manga style form but still keeping it to the realistic format.

He did look abit gender confused didn't he?

I always thought his hair was way too floppy, and his face didn't really look much like him, if you know what I mean. I've always imagined him to have quite a long, pointy nose though.

They've done really well with this new design, it will have fans squeeing all over the world. :lmao:

I agree, Sephiroth looks WAY better! I was so dissapointed with how ugly he was in those first shots...
