I dont want to cause uproar from the cloti's and cleris's but does anyone else think that if jessie would of lived that she may of also competed for Cloud's affections, it was blatently obvious she liked him.

It's a funny idea, but I doubt that she'd really be in "competition". Yeah, she probably had a crush on him, but it's kind of like Yuffie, a very, very far-off chance. :lol:

With Aeris around, no. She wouldn't have had a chance. Still, I think she had a better chance than Tifa would have had. besides, I like Jessie and I think their personalities would have worked well off each other.

I agree that she would've more of a chance than Tifa though - I always liked the very tender moment in the beginning of the game where she wipes the dust off Cloud's face. I felt she was more suited to Cloud than Tifa.

I agree that Jessie had a crush on Cloud, but I think the chance of them getting together were slim. As someone else pointed out, Yuffie's able to go on the date with Cloud. Yuffie even kisses him on the cheek! Barret can go on the date with Cloud, too. :lol:

People are always looking at the way the girls treat Cloud, and then they assume that Cloud feels the same way. You have to look at the way Cloud treats the girls to see how Cloud feels. We saw evidence of Jessie having romantic interest in Cloud, but where is there any evidence that Cloud was romantically interested in Jessie? :unsure:

i wish they hadnt of killed off jessie, she was smart and kind. i would of been cool to see how she would of developed if she had been a playable character.

Well, There is a slight possibility. Where Jessis is on the tower, and she's about to die, she says something, like: "this is it" or something like that, I can remember. And you can choose cloud to be compassionate, or just brushing her off. I can't remember the script. :cloud:

Even if you choose to be compassionate, Cloud still doesn't say anything that hints at anything other than possible friendship. Besides, it's optional.

I'm for JessiexBiggs too just like Sefie :lol: but when I think of the CloudxJessie thing, the Aerith in me gets jealous. :lol: (okay it sounds like I have multiple personalities but...)
Anyway, I agree that with Aerith around Cloud, Jessie still couldn't get the chance, but comparing Jessie to Tifa, I think Jessie would be the girl to have enough guts to tell Cloud how she feels because Tifa just tends to keep her feelings locked up inside her. :(

No, I don't think it would have worked out. They are both so similar, so street-smart and tough. I don't think Cloud would have envisioned his teammate, who was on the same level as him, in a romantic light.

Cloud's feelings > any girl who does/doesn't/did like him.

Well, I remember something from the dating mech, where what Cloud says to Jessie determines whether Tifa gains or loses a point, although I don't remember what. I guess that implies something about him in relation to her, but it isn't much.

It would be interesting to immagine what they would be like, but she just wan't well developed enough during the game to make it realistic, especially not in comparison to the other three girls.

Just imagine if Jessie didn't die and there are four girls after Cloud. :lol:

Jessie didn't really stand a chance as he hadn't meet Aerith yet and its when he met her that he began to open up. She only knew him as the cold hearted ex-SOLDIER.

I neither liked or disliked Jessie because my siamese cat is named just like her (no kidding hahaha. :P) but seriously, it seemed to me like Jessie was just there and then suddenly she's gone. Like no big deal. But sometimes I can't help but wonder if she became one of the major characters. ;)
