Title: What Do You Hope The Ending Might Be.
Description: Just curious.

Marlene - August 2, 2005 06:06 PM (GMT)

For me,although a ressurection would be great,it would be a good idea,I'm curious about what others want.Because as my sig says,I want her to neither be alive nor dead.but to reunite in a sence of both, were Cloud stays alive, and Aerith is dead, but every summer, she gets to live with him in the summer, but when its winter, she goes back to the promised land, and flowers die.

Aeris Strife - August 6, 2005 07:16 AM (GMT)
Welllllllllllll I want it to be like....When Cloud and Sephy fight,They both die! It would be cheesy and crappy if cloud won i mean my gosh <_< So like the end Cloudie dies and goes to the promisedland and sees Aerith! :cleris: and then! Happy ending :fangirl: lol

Ray_Chucks - August 6, 2005 07:56 AM (GMT)
I hope the ending would be touching and great. I would like to see Cloud happy. let it be him with Aerith or with Tifa, or with no one. Cloud just needs to be happy, and I would be happy.

:lmao:

Since when do people care about Cloud? The clotis sure don't!

By the way, I'm deleting your signature because you didn't ask before you used it. :)

"Lets stick Cloud with Tifa even though it's
--Blatantly obvious they're not together
--2 years doesn't mean crap for either one of them
--They work together but rarely contact each other
--Cloud doesn't live with her
--She isn't motivation enough for him to *not* throw away his life carelessly
--They never appear together in ANYthing except Ehrgeiz
--and in that game they were kicking each others' butts
--They knew each other all those years and...
--...Cloud went for the girl he knew for barely a year
--Tifa almost dies, Cloud thinks she's a goner, and he DOESN'T CRY.
--Tifa doesn't appear walking with Cloud in Itadaki Street Special
--She doesn't appear with him in Kingdom Hearts
--She doesn't appear with him in Final Fantasy Tactics
--There are no Cloud x Tifa references in ANY OTHER GAME
--And there could have been, but guess what? Square didn't want to! :P
--She NEVER made Cloud smile or laugh
--In comparison to Cloud and Aeris they didn't have as many scenes together.
--2 YEARS. AERIS IS STILL ON CLOUD'S MIND.
--Can I make it any simpler for you?"

Hahaha, I had to do it. If anything to give you Cleris peeps some encouragement in your ideal endings. :)

I love you Velvy, marry me?

Toxo - August 7, 2005 11:55 AM (GMT)
Oooh...A wedding?! :woot:

Anastar - August 7, 2005 01:02 PM (GMT)
Wonderful points, Velvy! *applause*

Oooh...A wedding?!

I really doubt that would happen in AC, since I don't think they'll resurrect Aerith. How about in KH2? :fangirl:

Seii Monogatari - August 7, 2005 01:21 PM (GMT)
I think Toxo was referring to Velvy and I, Aly. :P

Oh.... sorry.

But in that case, can I be the flower girl? :woot:

Seii Monogatari - August 7, 2005 01:54 PM (GMT)
Of course you can!! ^_^

(Velvy has to accept first, though)

*beams happily at Velvy* :)

Anastar - August 7, 2005 02:08 PM (GMT)
I'll have you two married before Velvy knows anything about it! :woot:

FF_Goddess - August 7, 2005 07:05 PM (GMT)
:lmao: Wonderful Velvy! Can I use that on my webpage? Credits will go to you, of course... ^_^

Seii Monogatari - August 8, 2005 01:06 AM (GMT)
I knew FF_G would want it on her site, I should've called it!! >_<

Velvy - August 8, 2005 02:52 AM (GMT)
Seii: Lets get hitched! :D

FF_Goddess: Yeah, but I think even *more* points should be added to it. In fact, perhaps this is something that can go up in the Evidence Against Cloud and Tifa forum, with everyone pitching in.

FF_Goddess - August 10, 2005 04:40 PM (GMT)
YAYNESS!!! :woot:

Thanks, Velvy... ^_^

Okay, um, I was sitting in the train on my way to uni, and dreaming of Advent Children, and I was remembering what Aly said about the ending not being conclusive and not offending either Cloti or Cleris, and Cloud surviving, and I was thinking how such an ending might happen.

Say, Cloud goes to meet Aeris in that flowerfield scene to ask for forgiveness. She smiles at him, teases him, then tells him to go back, to live, that's it's not right for him to continue being sad, and mopey and pining about her, that's he's missing out on all the other things in life. He looks at her, and smiles, *cue Cloud Smiles* happy to see her again, and that she still cares about him. :fangirl: And Aeris smiles back and says the legendary lines, "Let's go, Cloud."
So he gets his spirit back, goes back and fights those SHM and whatever happens.
Then at the ending, he is clearing up the mess with Tifa and co. and Tifa asks him "What are you going to do now?"
And he stands up and looks at the sky and replies, "I'm gonna keep living, to do what I can now for the future (or whatever sappy lines like that). Aeris told me to. I'm doing this for her sake - and for the sake of all the memories I have. Memories are the only thing I can grasp on to now..I think."
And Tifa smiles, a sort of peaceful-but slightly sad - but also kind of accepting kind of smile. And she simply says, "Yeah." in a soft voice.
And Cloud shuts his eyes to the sky and smiles softly.

And the screen zooms out - while it is zooming out, we hear the same words in the trailer when he pokes his sword into the ground being replayed - the ones where he says "I've decided to keep living on your behalf" and it zooms all the way out of midgar, with the theme song playing in tha background - sort of like the original FF7 opening and the FF7AC logo comes into focus. Then it slowly fades to a sadder, more gentle epic song, the screen turns black and the credits roll.

In that way, the LT is still left inconclusive, but we know that Cloud indeed loved Aeris, and the CLotis can be happy that there is still possibility for CLoti afterwards, so dun dun dun, everybody happy.

I wouldn't mind an ending like that, if Cloud doesn't die. :fangirl:

Hahaha, just how I thought the ending might be. *points to thread topic*

....yin-chan, you are a Square employee in disguise! Admit it!!! :P

That's a very probable ending and I wouldn't mind it either. The only thing I would mind are the rabids who continue to insist that it ended on their terms(even though it was clearly inconclusive) and continue to twist the movie to fit their interpretations <_<

Oooh don't you know??? I'm working under Tetsuya Nomura as his apprentice!!!!!! yes yes!! I know all the secrets.... ufufufufufu.....and I can safely tell you that Cloud wears boxers with Heart prints on it....

That does sound like something they would do - and it is something they have done with the ending of FF7. In the end, the rabids are probably the ones who will *never* let the LTD be concluded, no matter what kind of ending SE dishes out to them. <_<

Wingless - August 12, 2005 02:15 PM (GMT)
yin-chan, that would be a very pretty ending. :woot: I'm all for Cloud choosing to live for Aerith's sake. I think that's really romantic. If I were in her shoes, I'd want that too. :)

That kind of ending would make most people happy. (Which, in the end, is what's really important.) And rabids are rabids, no matter what side they're on; they're not worth worrying about. :D What matters is that the debate between the normals ends. :P There are some people who, even though Final Fantasy VIII was blatantly Squinoa, argue that Quistis was the girl for Squall. So you'd never get rid of everyone who likes an opposite pairing, but as long as CloudxAerith is obviously canon (the way all the other pairings of SE's games are), who cares? :)

Awww, Cloud with heart-print boxers? Awwwww. :fangirl: He does seem like a guy who likes classics. :)

That's such a great point, Wingless! :) Some Cloties can be really rabid and Nomura shouldn't be forced to write a story just for them. But I think that most normal cloties would be satisfied if Cloud can just remain friends with Tifa, but keep his heart forever with Aeris. AC doens't have to please everyone, it just has to have a good story.

SInce Cloud is still so hung up over Aerith's death, how can any 'normal' cloti expect that the movie would suddenly swing their way? They are just expecting too much!

Under the name Anonymous, what might be a good idea is a inderrect
Ressuection, were it was nothing Cloud or Sephiroth did,for example, like being brought back by a tear, for example.

Clouds starts to have one huge tear, after he sees a huge sword,he looks to see
what it is,and discovers the sword talks, but unaware to him,its really Aerith in discuiss, and over time, the sword becomes more human.

I'm probably just wasting my breath, knowone cares.
