i was wondering how people prefer cloud and Aeris, personally i prefer the original characters but the kingdom hearts ones are cool too. what do you think?

Well, the only real difference is in their costumes. :lol: They're the same characters.

If you're talking about which costume we prefer, I guess I like their KH costumes better... except for Cloud's golden claw. I don't really like that, although it shows how similar he is to Vincent. I love his red cloak, though! :fangirl:

And I love Aerith's dress in KH, but I miss her red jacket. It'd look pretty with her dress in KH! :rolleyes:

I don't remember Cloud's fighting abilities in KH very well, but I do remember missing his limit breaks from FFVII. :lol: The biggest gripe I had about Cloud in KH is when Herc had to help him out of the Colisseum. I thought that made Cloud look like a wuss. <_<

I love AC CLoud - there's something about that outfit! :fangirl:

I love FF7 Aeris - I think that outfit is the best. ^^

I like their abilities in the original FF7 too - Omnislash was my god! XD

Aeris stayed mostly the same, but I think Cloud took a walk down the darker side. I actually enjoyed it. It showed a bit more development in how far he was willing to go.

I know, I just couldn't believe it, there's no way Cloud would of let something like that happen.

Oh, I thought we were just choosing between FFVII and KH costumes. My favorite Cloud costume is AC, then KH, then FFVII. For Aerith, her outfits in FFVII and KH are tied. I loved her KH dress! :fangirl:

It's a reflection of Sephiroth's wing as the One Winged Angel because Cloud is a Sephiroth clone. It sorta portrays the effect that Sephiroth has on Cloud. They are eternally in opposition to one another despite having similar genetics.

What do you guys think about Cloud wearing his AC outfit in KH2? I find it quite interesting. If Cloud in the KH world is completely unrelated to the FF Cloud, then how did KH Cloud manage to find the exact same clothing as FF Cloud??? :rolleyes: Not only that, but their clothing changed at almost the exact same time.

My opinion-- KH Cloud and FF Cloud aren't unrelated at all. They are parallels of each other and are almost exactly alike. The only differences would be their home worlds, how they grew up, etc... And in the KH world, Tifa doesn't exist. So, Cloud must have grown up with Aerith instead. :cleris:

Another thing to remember is Cloud was working for Hades. He strait out made a deal with the Devil. You don't get out of agreements like that unscathed.

I hope Aerith is okay. I get this feeling something bad happens when those new Heartless attack Hollow Bastion again. *fears Sephiorth took Aerith's heart, or something* I hope Cloud didn't go back to Hades to save her, it'll be so sad. But of course, if nothing bad happened to Aerith, there'd be nothing for Cloud and Aerith to do and they wouldn't be in KH2. Lesser of two evils, I guess. >__<

Personality-wise...I think Cloud and Aerith are about the same in both VII and KH, so I can't choose between them based on that.

It has always been an obvious parallel, only biased ones are blinded to that. If they have shown Cloud as a kid playing with the sands, and Aerith as a lady selling weapons I might call that AU :o

As said, you can't make a deal with the lord of Hell and expect to come out on top. Hades may be a Disney villain, but he's a smooth one.

And if Cloud doesn't have the wing in KH2, that means he might've broken free of the contract!

To answer the question: I'm in love with KH Cloud (AC Cloud's clothes are cool, but nothing beats a demonic leathery wing of DARKNEZZ and crimson cloak of BLOOOOD) and adore AC Aerith.

Not to be a downer, FFG, but Seifer was never mentioned in KH yet him and his posse are in KH2, aren't they? Then again, they aren't the same Seifer & Friends that we know from FFVIII (they're said to be around Sora's age) so I guess what you meant was the FFVII-Tifa doesn't exist in KH?

That said, it was said somewhere that Cloud was "lost amidst the confusion", or something to that extent, when Hollow Bastion was devoured and Cid was saving Aerith, Leon and Yuffie. That happened around nine years before the game.

I'd reckon that's pretty good proof that Cloud and Aerith knew each other from a fairly young age. :fangirl:

Well, so far, there has been no mention of Tifa in KH2. And she sure wasn't mentioned in KH. I would have to say that, if Tifa really did exist in the KH world, we would have heard something about her by now. :whistle:
