Square Enix today announced plans to open an official merchandise shop in Tokyo. The Square Enix Character Goods Shop/Show Case will be located on the ground floor of the Square Enix Hatsudai Building in Tokyo's Shibuya district. So far the company has only sold merchandise over the internet and at events like Tokyo Game Show. The new shop will specialize in character-related merchandise. It will be seperated into various areas, each featuring goods for a different age group. Accessories, figures and toys from Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and Hagane no Renkinjutsushi (Fullmetal Alchemist) will be on display and for sale.
The Square Enix Character Goods Shop will be open on August 16th. It will remain open for two consecutive weeks until August 31st. From September onwards, it will only be open on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 11:00 until 19:00 JST.Source:
