It has been confirmed that Cloud will be appearing in Kingdom Hearts 2 with his Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children costume.

Also, it seems we are getting closer to a specific Kingdom Hearts 2 release date. It was just announced that the release date for Final Fantasy 12 is March 16th, 2006.

Cloud is confirmed!! :woot: I'm sure Aerith is in it... if Leon, Cid, and Yuffie are in it, then Aerith will be, too. We already knew that Leon was in it, since David Boreanz was confirmed as his voice actor - so wouldn't Cid, Yuffie, and Aerith be in it, too? Plus, they were all in CoM... so it makes sense that they would also be in KH2.

We've hardly seen anything of her in the promos. Why should we expect to see a lot of her in the actual movie?

That doesn't mean that Aerith won't have a significant part in AC despite the lack of screen time. We only saw Aerith four times in Disks Two and Three of FFVII, but I still considered her role to be extremely important despite the lack of screen time.

What I mean is, Aeris is going to have an important role, but she can't exactly be in every screen what with her being 'dead' and all. :rolleyes: Well, she's definitely going to be in KH2, that's all that counts.

It's ... it's just called me weird but I'd prefer to see Tifa in a chibi bright KH style than her Advent Children form which is I dunno ... too dark for me ... at least in FFVII she had a bright white top :P Even though she's one of my favourite characters with Aerith I've always preferred Aerith's style, I really prefer pink and bright and feminine whereas Tifa always seemed dark to me apart from the white top which was a bit of brightness ... I have a feeling if she was in KH which are bright and colourful games she'd be brighter than in AC :lol:

So that's why I want her there :tifa:

But if she's not and there's more Aerith instead I'll be just as happy :aeris:

Yeah... Sephiroth has lots of scenes, and he's dead.

If Aerith can be in the flower field scene, she's able to be in other scenes. In FFVII, we saw her in the waterfall of the Forgotten City, as a ghost in her Church, in the hand reach scene, and at the end of the game after her death. If they can use her in all those scenes, they can use her more in AC.... just like they've done with Sephiroth.

Same here. :P Sorry to the nice CloTis here, but I don't really see any place for Tifa in KH2. If Nomura believed in CloTi and wanted to express CloudxTifa in a side-story, he would have done so in KH, IMO. I don't see him putting Tifa into KH2 when he has already made the first KH pro-ClAeris. ^_^

I hope to see Rinoa or Yuna, as well, since Leon/Squall and Tidus are already around. Personally, I would rather see Rinoa, simply because Leon/Squall seems to be a bit too brooding. He needs Rinoa around to cheer him up, much in the same way Cloud needs Aerith. :wub:

Plus, Tidus is just a little kid in the KH world. So, anything romantic is a bit out of the question. :rolleyes: Yuna as a little girl would be cute though! :wub:

Yeah, although the theme of KH - holding the one you love in your heart while you're separated from them - is shown better in the story of FFX than it is in FFVIII, except for when Squall got lost in the time continuum.

1. That picture looks like a new drawing of KH Cloud. His Ehrgeiz picture actually looks much more detailed than that. And Cloud's KH wing is there.

2. With people fighting over Aeris or Tifa in KH2, I say we should JUST HAVE CLOUD! :wub: No girls in his way! Then Cloud can go teach all the Disney characters how to not be lame.

3. The only reason I was interested in KH in the first place was because Cloud was in it. I suppose I have to get this game too now, as much as I hate Disney.

4. It seriously wouldn't make sense to not have Yuffie and Aeris in the next one. Especially Aeris. They were both part of the story in KH and KH:CoM so I have no reason to doubt their appearance this time.

5. I could care less if Tifa was/wasn't in it. If she is, I'll just believe that it's Square being publicity whores because I don't see a reason for her being there when she wasn't even mentioned in the first two games. If Square wanted to portray Cloud's love for her, he would have mentioned her at least once in the last two games. But he didn't.

I've heard rumors a while back that mentioned leon working with AVALANCHE. they specifically mentioned Tifa and Vincent. I don't know how true the stuff was, but I guess it's possible.

Well I haven't really kept up with the previously released story bits, but Sora is back, the people in black capes are plentiful, the girl from Chain of Memories plays a part, and a lot of the characters from KH make reapperances. New ones include the cast of Pirates of the Caribbean (sp?) and Auron from FFX. A prominent villain(?) is a guy wrapped in red straps/bandages, who seems to make appearances by projecting himself with technology. When Sora attempts to attack him, his keyblade passes through him, merely distorting his image in a code-like pattern. Cloud and Squall is at one point seen fighting back to back, with Cloud in his new Advent Children-look (the clothing, that is). The gameplay hasn't changed that much from KH, your main task through the battles still seem to be whacking against enemies, but some new bits include special actions in specific situations by pressing triangle, and the ability to assume various modes ("Drives"?) as well as merging/comboing with your battle partner (in the case of the playable demo, Beast).
