I've finally decided to post a few of my poems. I hope you enjoy them. ^_^
This is an older one thats been here before (I think) but it probably one of my better ones.
Innocent Flower Girl
She was but a lowly flower girl
The last of her kind
She was beautiful and cared for all things
And wherever she went love she did bring
She spent her life in a run down church
Taking care of her flowers
Passing the hours
While birds watched from their perch.
Then one day while on a quest
She was praying for us all
When Sepiroth’s sword did fall
And took her life as it passed through her chest.
As she passed to eternal sleep
She was buried in waters deep
No one spoke, not a peep
Because her memory they wanted to keep.
So ends the tale of the Flower Girl
I hope that you now can see
That she was and always will be
The innocent flower girl to me.
This next one is a poem I wrote after I finished disk 1 for the first time. It was hard to write because I was so sad I couldn't focus.
This poem is written from Aeris's point of view.
Don't Cry for Me
I knew from the start
Deep down in my heart
This is what I must do
To save all of you
Don't cry for me.
I want you to know
That I had to go
I want you to see
It had to be me
Don't cry for me.
While on the altar
I did not falter
I prayed for us all
The planet heard my call
Don't cry for me.
The day I died
I know you cried
Now that I'm gone
You must go on
Don't cry for me.

You know,this has a strange resemblence to a song I wrote about her.
Anyways,I love it.
She cerainly did not have to go,there was another way,but I won't tell,I want to keep you guessing.

excellent poems, ek! i love them.. it also made me sad on ur 2nd poem.. they're so very touching! ^.^ you should be a poet.
yeah, i agree with AR, you should most definitely post ur masterpieces in sigs.

I agree with you 100% but I'm horrible at making sigs. :sad:
