Irvine is just...so beyond awesome! He was so sweet, considerate, and just plain fun! ("I'm gonna make my move on Selphie now!") I thought that he deserved a club, so here it is! I'm really bad at writing out all my views on something, so I'll leave the Irvy gushing to his other(more expressive) fans :fangirl:

I always liked the guy! xD Specially his intro, with a butterfly on his finger and him shooting at it xD

His cowboy style is really cool, and its a pity he and Selphie didn't get together during the game... ;_; At least they could've hugged in the end!! T_T

Anyway, back to the character...I just didn't like the way he ran very much... His walking is cool, but when he runs... It reminds me a bit of Yuna in FFx2... But just a bit!! Don't get sad, Sefie!! *hugs*

Despite that, the guy's great. I like flirting characters XD

IRVY KINNEPOO!! That's the absolute best name for this club, Sefila. :wub: Sign me up, but I'll post stuff about Irvy later 'cause I don't remember everything about him like I do other characters...gotta replay FF8 soon.

I loved how he seemingly 'chickened out' during he mission to assasinate Edea. He pretended to be scared about changing history ...but he was actually refusing to kill their beloved 'Matwyn'

I think that I figured out a bit of symbolizm in Irvine's cowboy design.
In US history we learned about how the real west was lost in fiction, and that image became fact. Isn't that a little like Irvine? Pretending to be something he's not so well, that we accept that as fact. But if you think about it, he's not really flirty and extroverted, he's serious, romantic and....fragile :huggle:

i definitely would like to join. i like irvine. his looks, his height, his weapon, his limitbreak, his eyes, his outfit, his attitude...geez, almost everything. also, i just wanna say that i dont agree to what most say that he's a player and a womanizer. they're exaggerrating their description. deep inside he's a softie and is really thoughtful, kind and caring. he really deserves a fanclub. good job, sefie!
