Title: Terrorist Attacks Today ...
Description: ... In London

~Fury Brand~ - July 7, 2005 02:58 PM (GMT)
Bombs on a bus and on trains :(

In London down south from where I live.

I'm in Scotland but my mum is on holiday down in England at the moment >_>

I don't think she visited London but still I hope she is safe where she is.

Anastar - July 7, 2005 03:03 PM (GMT)
The attacks were just horrible. I hope that your Mom is okay, FB!

I know that The Doctor spends a lot of time in London, and Madame Batolli lives north of there. We've heard that Madame B is okay, but no word from The Doctor yet. I hope that he's okay, too.

What happened was terrible. I'm so sorry for all of those hurt by the attacks. :(

Aerith_kun - July 7, 2005 03:06 PM (GMT)
Donīt worry, Anastar... The Doctor is good, I have seen him in AC.net today...

Itīs awful, it remembers me the terrorist attacks of E.E.U.U and Spain :( ... But why have they done that??...

I hope everybody is good...

Anastar - July 7, 2005 03:26 PM (GMT)
I'm glad to hear that the Doctor is okay! Thanks, Aerith_kun! :huggle:

No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks yet, but they believe it's a group associated with Al Qaeda.

Aerith_kun - July 7, 2005 03:44 PM (GMT)
Youīre welcome :huggle:

The TVs of my country (Spain) think it has been made by Al-Qaeda, too... The attacks which were made in Madrid were very similar... I donīt think it has something to do with the Olimpics

Anastar - July 7, 2005 03:59 PM (GMT)
Yes, it's very similar to what happened in Madrid, which was terrible, too.

I don't think it has to do with the Olympics, either. It coincided with the start of the G8 Conference in Scotland, so I think it was in reaction to that.

~Fury Brand~ - July 7, 2005 04:09 PM (GMT)
Thank you Aly :huggle:

I hope she's ok too :)

Glad Amy and The Doctor are ok, even though I don't know the Doctor :P

And thanks Aerith_kun :huggle:

Even if my mum isn't in London itself I wonder if she'll have trouble travelling through England to come home anyway

And my love was due to be coming over from America to stay with me next week but now he might not be able to, maybe his parents will be too worried to let him come  Haven't seen him since Christmas but ... oh well if sacrifices have to be made to keep him safe :huggle:

Tacofoolio - July 7, 2005 04:29 PM (GMT)
Man, I haven't seen the news yet, but it sounds really bad. I hope everyone's ok.

Sefie - July 7, 2005 08:11 PM (GMT)
*Shivers* Oh good, I'm headed to Scotland in 18 days. Nice to know my "friends" are following me
I wanna move back to little un-known Utah where nothing bad ever happened!

Cloudsgirl - July 7, 2005 08:21 PM (GMT)
It's just so horrible... my thoughts and prayers are with out British friends... Why does there have to be so much hate in the world?

Materia Thief - July 8, 2005 12:06 AM (GMT)
Why do things like this have to go on?

My prayers go out to everyone in London or who have relatives there. I have friends there myself.

This might not be much, but there's a site here with a lot of information on it and how you might be able to get contact/etc. :/

Kusari Yarou - July 8, 2005 03:12 AM (GMT)
'Tis a wicked world we live in :(
My prayers go out to everyone

Sir DQ - July 8, 2005 05:16 AM (GMT)
I'm too apathetic, I just can't seem to work up any semblance of care about this, but I really should, if only because I live in Scotland.
It's like I want to, but can't seem to

I've heard the Russin leader guy is using this as an excuse to push 'anti-terriosm'

Real_Emotion - July 8, 2005 01:48 PM (GMT)
It's truly terrible about the latest terrorist attacks. My heart goes out for everyone that has been affected by it. :(

Why are the terrorist doing this? What are they trying to prove by slaugtering and injuring dozons of people? Do they have no conscience?!

SweetJanie - July 8, 2005 07:38 PM (GMT)
Well, my dad thinks they're trying to get back the supremacy they had centuries ago when they controlled south europe and the oriental part. They had power and were feared and my dad thinks that they want to feel like that again, even if it means with bombings and kamikases. And the problem is that we're not fighting against a country, a nation, but a religion that has lots of countries and, right now, muslism is everywhere. I'm glad Portugal is a small country, cause then they won't come here...

Sir DQ - July 9, 2005 09:50 AM (GMT)
I thought it was still unclear on who the bombers were? Unless it's been declared a group of Muslim Fanatics and I haven't heard about it yet?

Anastar - July 9, 2005 01:59 PM (GMT)
No, they haven't confirmed which group did it yet. A few groups have claimed responsibility, but none have been confirmed. Everyone agrees that it has all the typical trademarks of a terrorist attack by Al Qaeda, though, so it's the primary suspect.

Buhon - July 9, 2005 09:04 PM (GMT)
These attacks are beyond horrible and inhuman, I will simply never understand the mentality of terrorists. To all the folks on this forum from the UK (I know there are quite a bit of you), my heart goes out to you all - you are in my thoughts and prayers.

~Cleara Aura~ - July 9, 2005 10:39 PM (GMT)
England is my home country.I think the bombings were Afgans or Pakistans, things linked by the Muslims since that's where terrorist is happening at the moment.
