Can someone help me out here... I am trying to defeat all of the Dragon Gods and I am on the Green Dragon. I defeated all of the monsters on the island (TWICE now) to get Tyrano to appear and he still hasn't shown up. :mad: Then I found a walkthrough that says not to fight the Prehysterics, only the bugs. Do I beat all the monsters on the island or what??? <_<

It's been awhile since I've played the game... is this the part the rocker whatshisname was playing so that the ghosts appear?

I got stuck on this part too. From what I remember, you defeat ALL the monsters. You know you have defeated them all when you appear in the map that you arrived in and the..Ayla look-a-like (I forgot her name ^^;) comes out and says she hears something. Then you go follow her to the place the Dragon is (where before there was a wall...I think) I forgot how that monster appears...but its something in that map.

I have defeated all the monsters twice now and I can't get anything to happen! :sad:

Perhaps you are missing a few hidden monsters or maps? Or..maybe there is a bug in your game ><

My guide just says to fight all the monsters... The only thing I can think of is like what Onigiri said, check for hidden monsters. Make sure to climb all the trees and open all the chests since some monsters don't emerge until you take their treasure. If that doesn't work... :unsure:

EDIT: This might be difficult to understand, but hopefully will help. >_< If I remember correctly, there were three kinds of monsters, Preymantis, Prehistorics and Pteradacts.

Preymantis look like spiders. Prehstorics look like little voodoo people. Pteradacts aren't out walking around for you to fight, they fly down and attack when you reach certain points.

Okay, I drew some [very questionable] maps, and I'll try to explain. I remember the first time I beat Chrono Cross, I was stuck on that for quite some time.



This would be the first area where the Wingapede drops you off and you meet Leah. By climbing up the cliff on the left, you reach a nest with a chest by it. I believe a Pteradact attacks you up there. Beat it and go back to the ground. Move around to the back area on the ledge and beat the Preymantis. Then go for the second Preymantis walking back and forth at the front of the screen. Climb up the beige vine towards the middle of the map [if you can tell what it is ^^;] and I think there is another Pteradact up there. Keep moving along the vine until you exit to the right (still on the vine).



You should be in a new area. There should be another Prehysteric walking around on the vine in front of you, so fight it and go down the vine. There might be another prehysteric below, or it might be in the next section, walking around. There is a preymantis walking here, but you'll get to it later.



This is still the second area, but continued because I ran out of room. ^^; The Prehysteric marked in this third map is the same as the prehystoric on the second map that I told you wanders around. If you climb up the pillar thingy at the top, a Pteradact should attack you. Finally, go back down the the bottom and fight the Preymantis. Exit to the right.



This is the last map portion. Depending on whether you entered from the bottom level or the top level on the third map, you will be able to fight either a prehysteric or a Preymantis. Make sure you kill the Preyesteric and then go for the rest of this map. Kill the Preymantis and climb up onto the middle ledge with the second Preyhesteric. Kill it, then continue to the right until you see another Preymantis and a [Save Point]. Kill the Preymantis and save you game.

Go back to the main area where the Wingapede dropped you. Continue along to the right until you re-enter the second area, except you are in an area with the Preymantis from earlier. Beat it, and go back to the main area.

Er... if it still says nothing about the forest growing quiet and not hearing any monsters, walk around on the vines as far as you can, maybe you didn't find all the Pteradacts. That's all I can really tell you, keep exploring and maybe it'll move you forward. Try entering and exiting the areas through also the possible combinations, that might also help, I don't know. -_-
