A long day,
I come home to you.
You smile and greet me.
This has to be a dream.
I could never be this happy...

When I wake up,
I realize that it's only been a dream.
Warm tears fill my hands as I cup my face.

A laugh is heard.
A loud laugh,
Full of anger and hate.
I look up and I see you.
You put your hand around my neck,
And slowly tighten your grip.
As I slowly sink into nothingness and darkeness,
You smile.

You smile that your deed is done.
But what will you do now?
