This question just bit me on the ass. But think about it. How come we have so many of the other characters? What could that possibly be telling us? That Aeris is only in the game a short time? :cry: Or maybe her role will essential to the storyline, thus spoiling the plot if more images of her are revealed? What do you other crazy women think? :D

Or maybe big since Cloud is still depressed about her, but doesn't appear that often? The plot revolves around something different and doesn't seem to need her as much as before. =/

It's because Square doesn't want to give away the movie. If Aeris has a big part of the most important aspects of the movie, it isn't likely that Square would release screens, just to keep it all a secret until you actually watch. Remember, the amount of pictures of a character released doesn't reflect how important they are when it comes to Square. They just don't want the movie spoiled like "the end of disc 1" in FFVII.

(Whoops, I meant to 'quote', but I accident hit report. ^^;)

Anyway! I was going to say that I read somewhere.. I believe Nomura said that ''aeris fans won't be disappointed.'' So, she has to have some type of huge role/part in the movie.

Let's also remember that Sephiroth hasn't been shown much either and we know he'll likely have a huge part.

I feel Sephy won't have a huge part. I have a hunch it will be just a Sephy clone or something. (Sephy coming back to life might be just as cheesy and Aeris coming back to life :whistle: )

Remember when Vincent said "If they wanted, they could make another Sephiroth."

And seriously, everyone read my earlier post. All the clotis are just feeding off of "OMFGAERISISNTIMPORTANTBECUZSHEHASONEPICTURE!`" If Square says Aeris fans won't be disappointed, then trust them. They know how big of an issue that is.

And NO ONE would ever put the most important scenes in early trailers and screenshots. <_< Please stop judging off of the freebies Square gave.

Also, they OBVIOUSLY don't wanna show us her face yet, and that'd be pretty trickky if they released tons of pics of her. And they're keeping her mysterious. I like that

Yep, just sit tight, people! It's like Itadaki, they held back on the website art but gave us TV commercials and practically half the intro on Aerith. :lol:

Anyways, can anyone remember when's TGS usually? I think it's September, but I'm not sure which part of the month it's on. Maybe she'll make her grand entrance then. Unless TGS is after September 14th. Oh well, there's always the Square Enix Party!

It's a strategy for publicity. It's like making the audience feel like they can't get enough of Aerith...

You're right, Clorith... we saw very little of Aerith and a lot of Tifa in the previews for Itadaki Street, but Aerith was with Cloud in the Intro FMV for the game and there was a lot of Aerith in the commercial for it, too.

Last year, TGS was on 9/25/04. :( Maybe we'll see something more at the Square-Enix Party in July.

I trust Mr. Nomura's word, that Aerith fans won't be disappointed.
I think she won't be there physically but she'll have an important role in the plot.
Because if Aerith will only appear in flashbacks or something, I will be disappointed.

Perhaps she does play a major role in AC.... Of course they're not going to release any info about her, considering she died in the game.
