So is it fun to watch with all the Hollows and Shinigamis fighting or when people fight or argue for no reason.

Its a great series. At first, I thought it was mediocre at best, but it really gets good later on. I don't really follow the anime, but the manga's great.

oh my god. Bleach is one of my favorite anime shows as of now, has anyone seen ep 47? they did an excellent job on conveying hinamori's thoughts correctly. but Hitsugaya's voice will always remind me of Edward Elric. Same VA, i know....lol.

I don't think it's reached the popularity of say...Naruto, but I'd still say that it's pretty big. :)

Anyhoo, I just got into this manga 2 weeks ago... I've been downloading the chapters like crazy. I forget which chapter, but I just finished volume 7. And I'm up to episode 9 or 10. So far, this is one of my most favorite animes. I'm obsessed with the opening song "Asterisk" by Orange Range.

Ahh Bleach. It is such a wonderful anime/manga. It is a really good anime to watch and it's all also good to read. I love the story..I just hope it doesn't get too popular to the fact it becomes the next Naruto. Ugh. -_____-;;

The liscenced manga needs a bit of help... Too many small changes ruined it for me. Calling Ichigo "Strawberry" should have been enough... But they went a bit too far about other things as well... Wholes and Hollows. Lol. Funny stuff.

I haven't read a new Jump chapter of Bleach in months (last one I read had the various Vizards(?) facing off against the Shinigami) but I used to read it religiously. All of the characters were surprisingly endearing and I was uber-addicted during the Soul Society arc.

I need to comment on Kubo Tite's artwork though--love it to bits and pieces. Ichigo-tachi look so bloody sexy, ne? XD~ Strange enough, Ichigo looks best when he's drenched in blood... so do the rest, actually. I don't know what it is about Bleach characters and blood that make them so hot but there's that certain X factor there. For what it's worth, Renji's my favorite character (Renji x Rukia OTP).<3

That is soooo TRUE. Renji x Rukia is cute...but Hitsugaya x Hinamori is the best. x3 The liscensed manga...eh, I don't even read them..but I bought them to support Kubo-san...-___-;;. Agh, I want chapter 211 now >__>, I want to see what happens to Hitsu-kun...

Dude, I've been looking for the chapters/volumes everywhere. So far I'm reading them from Degree Anime... I'm mean. XD I absolutely adore the manga, and I'm actually kinda amazed how much the manga-ka's drawing style has changed. o_O The first chapters have characters that are somewhat awkwardly drawn, don't'cha think?

I haven't watched the anime... which sounds a little of a pity. .___. Maybe it'll come soon to Animax. XD

Oh, and I also looooooove Ichigo/Orihime, Hitsuyaga/Hinamori, and Rukia/Renji to bits. :D

I just started to read and watch this series. I've only seen the few episodes they have on AS but it's pretty good so far. I hope they don't cut out any little Ichigo+Orihime moments. Orihime is my favorite character, she's pretty, nice and actually smart (hope Ichigo realizes this). I hope she doesn't get killed off like some ppl believe she will. I like Ichigo+Orihime and Rukia+Renji. Both have cute and funny elements. Orihime+Ishida are pretty cute too, but i'm still rooting for Orihime+Ichigo first. I've only read up to volume 11 so far (out of the 15 available), but the action has me in suspense. I personally liked Renji best when they showed him in the flashback w/o his hairline change. Kisuke is also a cool character. I love the overeactions of characters, like Keigo, heh.

I really love Orihime and Ichigo to be together, and Renji with Rukia.

Er....would anyone happen to know why the show is called Bleach??

Last I checked (which was many many many months ago), fans speculated it was because of Ichigo's orange hair, and how other students thought he'd bleached his hair to that colour even though it's actually natural.

Another speculation is that it's because of the "bleached" white look of the Hollows, I believe.

I don't think an official reason from Kubo-sensei was given, though.

And re: Bleach artwork-- LOVE IT. There's just something so damn sexy about the style, I'm so glad the anime tried to follow it. :lust: Although I suspect why some original anime scenes look wonky (e.g. the fillers) is also because they can't fully imitate Kubo-sensei's unique style.

I was addicted to it at the start...but I don't know, after I stopped watching the anime and reading the manga....I guess, I got bored of it or something. Maybe if I reread the mangas then I'll probably get addicted to it again but hmmm...not sure. I do have two couples I like from that series.

Hitsugaya x Hinamori - They are just...adorable.

Ichigo x Orihime - I really doubt they will ever end up and from the looks of it, it seems the official is pushing for Ishida x Orihime (not sure) and Ichigo x Rukia, but I think they look cute. I guess one reason I like this pairing is because...I'm not fond of Rukia. Sorry, guys, but I am a Orihime fan.

Oh, but the latest manga developments seem to be pushing for Ichigo x Orihime! :fangirl: *is a huge fan as well* It's like one whole big shojo manga now. I couldn't stop screaming in delight! Rui, you should pick it up!!

Ichigo doesn't even know how Orihime feels about him, so you can't say yet! I'm almost 100% sure things will take a turn when he does finally find out. :) I think Orihime's feelings for Ichigo is probably the only official maybe-love the manga has given us.
