Here are some new images of Square Enix's Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII for PS2. (Images can be seen HERE) It seems that the mysterious organization D.C. is doing a large scale man hunt, murdering people who they think were worthless. D.C. sends cyborgs and mechanical beasts to attack people. You control Vincent Valentine in a third person perspective, you can also switch to a first person perspective when using rifles. There are several weapons available, such as shotgun, machine gun and rifle.

Hmmm... shotguns, machine guns, and rifles are available. No swords are available as weapons? Is this more indication that Cloud won't be in it? :blink: And I find it curious that it says that this D.C. group is doing a large scale man hunt to murder people who think they are worthless. Doesn't that describe how Cloud feels about himself in AC?

I meant that if Cloud's a character in the game, wouldn't there be swords available for use?

Well maybe there is actually, it can be kinda Kingdom Hearts you know..there can be swords and stuff but I don't think this will be like 3 people in a party or something..still I don't think Cloud's going to be in it because he's probably dead or he died while AC ended or something *snifffff* and they'll tell why in DC.

Maybe that's because Vincent is in that coffin room, EEK!

But there's even that third person shooter thing I don't really know if they are going to make such a complex battle system to both Cloud and Vincent >_> because you can't obviously play as a third shooter with a sword LOL

They might just mean the guns are available for use by Vincent. They don't exactly say that there are no swords, etc. And I doubt Vincent would use a sword anyway. But they should have worded that info better. It's hard to really understand what they mean. :(

And if that really is Reeve, I think it would be cool to have both him and Cait Sith in the same game like that and communicating with both. We didn't get to see him after the beginning of FFVII. So this should be cool. :lol:

True... I didn't think of it that way. Still, it's interesting. There's just no sight of Cloud anywhere. It seems to me that Cloud would go with Vincent if something is threatening Nibelheim. Despite all of his bad memories there, he always seemed to consider it his hometown.

I'm glad to see Cait Sith off that Moogle, too! Since there's Cyborgs attacking people, they seem to be using Cait Sith for reconnaissance.

You seem to hate that big Moogle for some reason. *giggle* I thought it was somewhat adorable. ^_^
