Apart from interesting music, the site offers information about the story and characters along with some downloads, like wallpapers. Some short video clips from the game can be seen in the story section.
The charater section says that Vincent is invited by Reeve to visit the celebration of the rebirth of the city of Kalm. [Note: when was Kalm destroyed?]
There, he becomes a witness to the Deep Underground Soldiers attacking the city. Further, it is pointed out that Vincent's tragic love with Lucrecia will also be of importance. It is mentioned that Cait Sith has been working since the collapse of Shinra at an organization wanting to rebuild the planet called the "World Restoration Organization" (WRO).
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII will presumably appear sometime in 2005 in Japan for the PS2. Source:

Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII Website Goes Live06.04.05 - 5:49 PM
Square Enix has opened the official website for its PlayStation 2 title Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. The gun action RPG will pitch Final Fantasy VII's optional character Vincent Valentine against foes known as Deep Underground Soldiers. These soldiers had been trapped beneath Midgar when the meteor struck the city at the end of Final Fantasy VII. Three years after the events of Final Fantasy VII, Vincent is attending the festivities marking the restoration of the village of Kalm near Midgar. There he comes under attack from the Deep Ground Soldiers. Apparently, Vincent is somehow connected to them, but the reason is completely unknown. It is also unknown what exactly happened beneath Midgar in those three years.
In addition to Vincent, another playable character from Final Fantasy VII has been confirmed to make a return in Dirge of Cerberus: Cait Sith. The former Shinra spy is now affiliated with the World Restoration Organization and tries to rebuild what the meteor has destroyed. No other characters have been revealed at this point.
The official website of this Compilation of Final Fantasy VII installment also offers a download section featuring two wallpapers.
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII has yet to receive an official release date, but is generally expected to be available in Japan sometime this year. Source:
