Rinoa was sitting at her bedside when she suddenly felt a cold shiver coming up her spine that made her jump a bit and also the fact being away from friends and others that makes her sadden a bit.

"Rinoa breakfast!" called out her father who seemed a bit impatient that very morning.

"im coming!" she yelled back slowly getting up and walking to the kitchen where her father waited.

"you finally decide to wake up this morning" he mocked with half a smile on his face slowly drinking his hot coffe who then notices the time "oh well look at the time...ill see tonight sweetheart" said Rinoa's father as he kissed her on the forehead and rushed to the door.

Rinoa looked at her father who seemed to be in a hurry and remembered that she signed up for a piano lesson with her new teacher Miss Apple, Rinoa rushed to get changed and ran straight to miss apple's house.

"sorry im late" she said as she huffed and puffed while Miss Apple opened the door.

*minuets later*

"remember dear its 9:30 on thrusdays not 10:00" said miss Apple with a gentle smile while Rinoa felt a bit red.

"i wonder how the others are?" she thought to herself its been a year since she hasnt seen anyone but most of them on daily basis.

"maybe i should see them sometime" Rinoa walked to the nearest bus stop and was rudely pushed aside by a biker who didnt seem to care so she got up and cursed him a little but little did she know he came back and helped her out a little.

"im sorry i was in a rush" the young man smiled while Rinoa who seemed to be still cursing a little in her head but cant help but smile.

"its ok"

"are you sure i kinda hit you bad" Rinoa looked at him and started to realize he looked alot like Squall.

"Squall?" she muttered.

"Squall?" he mimeced.

"oh no one" she lied walking off.

"i wonder... those he miss me?'

Selphie is tied up with exams going on with the garden so she has no time to spend with friends so instead she finds comfort in her love for music and secretly someone close.

"i wonder how are the others..."she thought playing the guitar.

Selphie is interrupted by a familiar voice and turns her head and surprisingly it was Zell so she drops what she was doing and hugs him tightly.

"Zell!" she cried gently brushing her face into his chest.

"hey man what are you doing" he said blushing.

"ohh im sorry my bad" she said turning red "its just that youve been gone for awhile"

"only 6 months" he replied "wheres the others?"

"i dont know" Selphie answered honestly.

"so ill see you later.."

"promise..." said Selphie with saddness in her eyes with a smile to hide it.

"i promise.." Zell left and Selphie heart stops beating fast so she leaves as well turing back into her music."

I walked out of Selphies room and procced to the head master. I got in the elevator, and went to the 3rd floor. As I walked out of the elevator no one was aorund. Seems as if no one had been here in ages.

"what the...?....oh thats right...Squall was the lat head master...and now hes gone..." I shrugged. "Well whatever, Ill head home."

I got back in the elevator and headed out the main door. As I was walking I bumped into a familiar face.

"hey watch it."

"whatd you say to me?"

I turned and looked at his face.

"Seifer?"

"Well if it isnt the chicken-wuss, where have ya beena ll this time?"

"What'd you call me!?" I started doing my regular swinging at the air to show how tough I am.

Seifer walked away.

"...glad to see you Zell."

"wha...?...tck...what a guy."

I walked to Balamb and went inside my house.

"Mom, dad Im home!" I waited and no one was around.

"huh, must be out or something." I walked upto room and droppe dmy bag on the ground.

"That SeeD mission was pretty tiring...I should catch some sleep while I can."

I layed down on my bed and feel fast asleep.

Rinoa finally decided to see the others since a long time she wondered what they were doing and how they would react towards her arrival but the person she most wanted to see was Squall.

“I hope hes ok” she wondered walking towards the end gates “will he still want me?”

“Rinoa!” shouted a young boy running towards her “don’t leave” the young boy said sadly.

Rinoa turned to him smiled.

“ill come back I promise.”

As soon as she left she jumped in a jeep and drove all the way there.

Selphie was still practising with her guitar till she heard someone singing outside her window it was a beautifull sound she thought and went to check it out.

"where is it coming from..." Selphie stood in one spot and started to look around abit.

As she looked near an old tree it was a young girl singing the most beautifull melody ever.

"hey excuse me" said Selphie kindly as she approached the frightened young girl.

The young looked at Selphie and was afraid abit.

"dont be scared" said Selphie trying to comfort her.

"im not scared" she replied.

"so you do talk" smiled Selphie.
"yes and what do you want" the young girl said rudely.

"oh im sorry my name is Selphie and i wanted to tell you do sing in a choir cause you sound so beautifull."

The young girl looked at Selphie flattered "no...just solo and by the way im Amelia" the little girls hand reached out to shake Selphie's hand.

"nice to meet you Amelia" said Selphie "hey wanna meet the school band?"

Amela jumped up in excitement and was immediately interested.

"right this way" Selphie lead the way.

Rinoa stood in front of the gates of balamb wondering if she should go in but she was eager to go in.

"i wish they are allright" she thought to her self slowly walking in.

Rinoa stood and looked around "nothings changed much."

"hey Rinoa!" Rinoa slowly turned to see Irvine, she waved at him with a big smile on her face.

"nice to see" she said.

"you to sweetie"

"where is everone?" she asked.

"i have no idea i just came back from timber" said Irvine.

"ohh i see...well wanna go look?" asked Rinoa.

"shure whynot i kinda miss being around with old the gang again" smiled Irvine.

"me too" replied Rinoa.

I laied in bed for a good time, not being able to sleep.

"...(I wounder where everyone is...I only saw selphie at the garden...no squall...irvine, rinoa, quistis, and waht happened squal..once we came back from the future he just disappeared after fixing the garden...it was really sudden..but then again we are in SeeD and we can be split up like I was...who knows).." I finally feel asleep.

Rinoa and Irvine were walking around looking for the others and then they bumped into Selphie, Selphie was all excited to see them that she couldnt help it and huggged them bith tightly.

"nice to seee you too Sefie" smiled Rinoa as she hugged her back while irvine just stood there and did that hat thing like all good cowboys.

"nice to see to see you to Irvine" mocked Selphie with a smile.

Rinoa was catching up with the others and started to get tired.

"Selphie can i sleep in your room"asked Rinoa.

"sure this way"

"thanx..." Rinoa went to sleep while the other 2 were catching up.

Aileen woke up in Balamb's infirmary. Ms. Kadowaki was walking around, talking to someone.

'Damn that Squall...' she thought, feeling a huge pain on her chest and left arm.

A blonde guy with a grey cloak appeared, looking at her with a smirk.

"Heard you got beaten by Squall."

"Shut up, Seifer. Next time I'll kick his...argh..."

"Easy with that. You need to recover first. You'll catch up with me later, k?"

"Yeah, I'll see you around...Is Rinoa here?"

"Seems so. See ya later, then."

"Yeah, see ya..."

He left and Ms. Kadowaki just shook her head.

"You three are crazy... But why come all the way over from Galbadia? Was it just to fight Squall?"

"Yeah, kinda..."

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, falling asleep soon after.

*Squall was sitting on a bench in the main quarters of Balamb Garden, he had a straight face on looking like he didn't care about anything. Of course for him, it was always that way.. except for Rinoa. He always had strange feelings about her. He decided to do some training so he started to walk towards the training grounds in a leasurly pace.*

Quistis picked up each of her supplies carefully, storing them away neatly in her suitcase. She wouldn't want to forget anything. After all, it had been a long time, almost a year, since she had returned to the Garden.

Ever since the downfall of Ultemecia and the rebuilding of the the Gardens, everyone had gone their seperate ways. Most had returned to the Gardens in some way or another, the "heroes", renowned across the land. She had been offered her old teaching position again and everything seemed to be going perfectly. However, this was not the life Quistis wished to live. She was grateful for the recognition of a "job well done", but, knowing it was not the path for her, she declined. She was not ready for such a responsiblity, not yet at least. So, after settling all her old business in Balamb and with the Gardens, she set off, travelling across the world.

She had seen many sights. Some small and quaint, others large and grandious. From the tropical to the tundra, she seemed to have seen it all. But, everything seemed to reek of a certain familiarity to her. She had seen all of this before. Quistis continued travelling, seemingly searching for something new, something exciting, but nothing held that same wonderment that it once did. Matron was the one who finally convinced her to return to Balamb Garden.

Thanking her "mother" for the encouragment, advice and shelter which she had provided so graciously to her for the past week, Quistis walked a short distance until she was at the appointed meeting spot. A familiar, yet welcome sight greeted her. The Ragnarok.

Zell woke up adn got out of bed.

"Man that was nice...well I could probably use a little food and a shower."

Zell went downstairs and greeted his mother and they talked for a good while, thenw e went adn showered, adns eh made him a lunch. HE of coruse inhaled it in like five seconds, but thats cool.

"Thanks mom, im off to garden!"

Zell took the car his family got and drove to the garden. He aprked in teh SeeD Parking lot, and walked out of the place. As he walked he saw Squall heading for the training arena.

"Yo, Squall!" Zell roared as he ran towards him.

"Oh..hey Zell, how ya been?"

"Ive been doin ok, just got back to garden this morning how about you?"

"Eh...doesnt matter...just about to go do some training."

"Sweet...sweet...mind If I come with?"

"...whatever."

Squall walked down the path.

"tck...same as always!"

Zell followed right behind him as they walked into the training grounds.

*Once Squall lead Zell to the training grounds, he drew his gunblade and rested it on his right shoulder, he continued to walk while doing so. Sooner or later, he would come across a creature that would accept the duo's challenge in training. Nothing seemed to come yet, usually monsters would love to try and make attempts at devouring Squall. Has he finally put fear into them, or are they just waiting for the perfect time to strike?*

"...what the crap...where are those monsters?"

"....I dont know."

"..." Zell ht his fists together and started swinging at the air.

"HEY YOU STUPID MONSTERS, COME ON OUT AND TRY AND TAKE ME ON!!! I DARE YOU!!!!!"

Right as he said this, 3 huge roars where heard, and out ran three T-rexaurs.

"...Nice job Zell...."

"...opps...."

... oh well.... I guess we have to take them on...

*Squall brushed his hair back in arrogane and went into his ready position.*

"great...us vs 3 giant dinosaurs....this is exactly how i wanted to spend my morning...dieing...."

*zell got in position for a beating.*

Well... if this doesn't work, I suppose we could run away but we should at least put up a fight...

*Squall charged his mana and casted a spell that make large bolts of lightning come down from the heavens to strike the 3 large dinosaurs. It didn't do much, the dinosaurs charged at Squall and Zell.*

... well... I think we should run now...

*Squall took off for the Blamb Garden in a rush attempting to escpae from the 3 beasts.*

Aileen got out of the infirmary when she woke up, without Mrs. Kadowaki seeing her. She walked around the school, passing in the biblio first to see if any computer was free, but since they weren't she went to her room. As she did she saw Squall and a blonde guy coming from the Training area.

"Running away from fights, are we Squall?" she asked with a cute grin, moving her brown hair from the shoulders to her back.

Rinoa finally woke up and walked towards the day room where Selphie was practising her guitar.

"finally your awake" said Selphie putting down her guitair walking up towards Rinoa.

"i think i saw the others just moments ago i think we should go see if there still around aye" said Selphie leading the way while Rinoa was tying her hair back that she cut 2 months back.

"Selphie do i seem different some way?" asked Rinoa playing with her necklace that had her ring and Squall.

"if you mean look wise yeah...i never thought that your be the type to wear pants."

"no, no not that...i mean attitude wise?" Rinoa stood for awhile "because i feel different some how..."

"not really to be honest your still the same" smiled Selphie sweetly while Rinoa seemed pale than ever.

"hey lets eat first" said Rinoa "i need something to occupy me..."

"ok"

"hey what do you know Irvine is all ready there"

*He made a sudden stop and looked at the girl, he sheithed his gunblade and spoke.*

Well... if you're comfortable with being devoured and digested by three T-Rexaurs, be my guest to commit suicide. You'll come in seperate pieces, garunteed...

*He walked out of the hall of the training room thinking about how stupid Zell was to lure those three gigantic dinosaurs to go after the both of them.*

"Oh yeah? So, the great Squall, the one that defeated Ultimecia and thus saved our sweet world can't fight off three T-Rexes? Well, if you say so..."

She walked to the rooms and, after entering hers, she let herself fall on the bed.

"Why am I so tired..."

*He was silent for a moment.*

...err... I lost my touch... that's why...

Selphie couldnt help but to wonder why Rinoa asked.

"hey you there" Selphie looked at Irvine.

"yeah i am" replied Selphie with a puzzled face looking back at Rinoa who sat ther quietly eating her burger.

"Rinoa why did you ask?"

Rinoa looked at Selphie and smiled "no reason..."

Selphie looked down to her burger playing with her fries.

"if your not going to eat that you might as well give it to me" mocked Irvine smiling sweetly.

"whatever...here."

"for real" asked Irvine "but then again...." Irvine helped himself to Selphie food while Rinoa laughed gently.

"finally a laugh" smiled Selphie.

Rinoa blushed "i guess im acting weird..." admitted Rinoa.

"no not really..." lied Selphie "hey i think i saw Zell...i mean Squall awhile ago lets get going"

Rinoa looked at Selphie and nodd her head gently.

"just as soon as piggy finshes" mocked Rinoa looking at Irvine so Rinoa couldnt help but to giggle so sweetly.

"hey! ill take that as a compliment" grinned Irvine.

"so how about now?" asked Selphie standing out of her chair.

"yea shure..." smiled Rinoa "hey irvine when your ready?"

"im ready"

"i think they went that way" Selphie pointed down the hall.

"wow your so specific" mocked Irvine while Selphie nooggied him.

"come on guys not now..."

"yea lets go" said Selphie.

"i hope he is ok..." thought Rinoa to herself walking out of the cafeteria with her arms on her head walking towards Irvine and Selphie.

Zell stopped when he heard that girl say what she said. He ran towards he dorm and busted in.

"Whatd you say about em and Squall!?"

She looked up from her bed.

"that ur a bunch of wimps!"

"WHY YOU!! YOU WANNA GO RIGHT NOW!?" zell started swinging his fists around the room.

Aileen got up slowly in her cool attitude and smirked at him.

"You wanna fight me? Well, I don't know if I want to... I fought Squall because Seifer said it'd be a cool fight, but you... Who are you, anyway?"

She studied him with her light brown eyes, playing with her hair.

"Are the one that girl from the biblio always talks about?"

*Squall went back into the main hall of the Blamb Garden and sat on a bench, bored once more.*

The Ragnarok landed next to Balamb Garden, the blades of grass dancing in the gusts of wind. Quistis was finally back where she belonged. Tidying her clothes she marched into Balamb Garden, ready to face whatever was next in her life with a new found confidence that she had never ever known could exist within herself.

First stop, Cid's Office

She had been hoping for a while now that Cid would accept her back as a working, busy and active member of SeeD, although she was sure that he would never just drop her from the rosters, there were always the little doubts that nagged at Quistis' mind.

Strolling in, was like walking into a tornado. People running and walking around, all busy chatting with friends or doing errands. Compared to the peace and quiet she had becomed accustomed to. However, she immediately saw a familiar face.

Walking up to him boldly, she smiled slightly, "Hello Squall. Long time no see."

*He looked at her from the corner of his eyes.*

oh...hey... I guess it has been a while...

*He didn't seem to be surprised to see her.*

"who am I!? The rela question is WHO ARE YOU!? AND WHY ARE DISSIN MY MAIN MAN SQUALL!?...and what do you mean some chick talking about me all the time!?"

I setteled down a bit..just to hear what she had to say.

Rinoa saw a blonde lady and some familiar face talking to each other.

"is that..." Rinoa got closer and saw it was Quistis.

"Quistis nice to see you..." Rinoa hugged her and smiled.

"what do you know the man him self..." said Irvine shaking his hand.

"Squall?" Rinoa said Blushing.

"nice to see...you..."

Aileen roze an eyebrow at his bursts.

"So many questions... And so little time."

She shook her hair back and closed the door, took her uniform jacket off and laid down.

"Now, let's see... I call Squall whatever I like cause I know him since you all came back. We had some fights but we're cool. Now, there's a girl in the biblio that EVERYONE knows she likes you... Come on, I'm from Galbadia and I already know it...."

She started playing with her hair again.

"I'm Aileen, I'm 16 and come from Galbadia garden. And you... Are you the guy Seifer doesn't like much, the chicken head?"

Zell started to move his fists up and down, trying to threaten her.

"WHY YOU!!!"

She laughed and sat down.

"So, you're Zell, one of the heroes."

She frowned a bit.

"I don't get it... If you beat Ultimecia up, why can't you handle 3 T-Rexes?"

"It's good to see you well, Rinoa." Quistis smiled back, hugging the younger girl. She had been a bit taken back by the sudden display of affection, but she guessed that time and distance had indeed made her fonder of her younger companion. Nodding her head slightly to acknowledge Irvine, she took her leave of them, noticing the rather emotional situation that might follow. "I'm apologize, but I need to take my leave, I really need to talk to Headmaster Cid."

Smiling she walked away, not waiting for a response, and boarded the elevator.

*Squall's eyes widened more seeing the face that he cared for the most. He seemed a bit nervous yet... happy. A rare sight appeared as a very small smile crossed his face.*

hey... long time...

Rinoa was happy that he remembered her "you to..." she said smiling sweetly.

"hey i found Irvine and Selphie..." she said while they waved at him.

"so anything that i should know about..."

*He looked around with an expressionless face and then looked at her with his eyes.*

No... not really, everythings the same around here.

"really?" Rinoa looks at the ground "i missed you..." she said silently.

Squall looked at her while she couldnt look to him in the eyes.

"but any ways...ill see you later i need to ask Quistis something" she smiled and hugged him gently and left for hid cids office.

"tck..." Zell looked to the side at the ground.

"what is it?" SHe asked leaning back on her bed.

"Its different from a year ago...back then we all used GFs for help and strength...but after we found what they did...we decided to only use them till after we saved the world..so once we did that we stoped using our GFs."

"what? Thres an after effect to using GFs?"

"Yeah.."I looked up quickly. "After we got abck we told HeadMaster Cid about it adn he put stuff about in the terminals in the class rooms and in the Balamb Garden Handbook, plus when Selphie updated her journal she said something about it as well."

"Well waht do they do?" she sat up quickly woundering.

"...go look for yourself...Id rather not explain...but thats the reason why we no longer use Gfs we would rather keep what we have now..."

"wait..so youd never use a GF again?"

Zell stopped and looked back behind at her.

"In very rare sercomstances will we use GFs." Zell walked out of the room and down the hallway.

Aileen frowned and kicked off her boots.

"Would u mind closing the door before leaving?"

Without looking back at her, Zell closed the door. She just sighed and fell back on her bed, thinking of what he had just said.

"Tomorrow I'll go check it out. I wonder what happened..."

Without beeing able to resist any more, she fell asleep, only to wake up in the middle of the night, when no one was up, or even awake.

"Hmph, bad timing, Ail, bad timing..."

Rinoa lied about seeing Quistis cause she didnt know what to say to Squall so she left and decicded to clear her concious.

"man that was intense."
