- ShinRa were investigating the after affects of Sephiroth in the Northern Crater, however their research concluded that there was nothing there.
- A wolf can be seen next to Cloud's sword when it is in the ground.
- Cloud performs an attack that ripples through the ground and ultimately through the trees.
- The music appears to be slightly different than the online trailer, although it is hard to make out in the theatre.
- Cait Sith can be seen riding on Nanaki's back.
- A droplet of water is shown which indicates detail in the water.
- Some flashes of images can be seen just before the end of the trailer, another new shot of Sephiroth can also be seen here for a second.
- Although the footage of Sephiroth coming down to Cloud is not shown, instead a shadow of him is seen as Cloud is standing [this appears to be after a battle with Kadaj although being a trailer events could be out of sequence]. The camera pans from his feet upwards and we see him standing facing Cloud.
- Sephiroth says the words "It's been a long time. Cloud" after he decends.
