Yukari - November 2, 2004 11:46 PM (GMT)
I haven't seen the anime, because England sucks at getting hold of episodes, but I have read the manga. And I do own an Inuyasha plush doll! I r teh roxor. ;) Seriously, I love Kagome and Inuyasha's love/hate relationship. Kikyo is such a tragic character, I love that about her. Sango kicks butt, and Miroku is my boyfriend.

Inuyasha on so late on CN??? :( I can't stay up that late! I gotta go to work in the mornings!
Thanks, Seii! :D Here is one I did of Fluffy... er, I mean Sesshomaru...

It started out pretty good, but I don't really know if I like the end result too much. I had several different shades of gray... but it just has TOO MUCH gray, I think...

Purdy fanarts!!!! *gocks at drawings*
nomadff7 - November 13, 2004 09:53 PM (GMT)
Hey everyone! I have just recently gotten to be a fan of anime (my favorites are "Trigun", "Witch Hunter Robin", and "Last Exile" -- can't wait for the last disk of that to come out!). Could someone give me a brief description of what Inuyasha is about? (No spoilers though, please). Because I am looking for another good anime to get into and maybe this could be a good one. :) Thanks!
FF_Goddess - November 14, 2004 12:43 AM (GMT)
Thanks, guys! :D I am glad you like my fanart! ^_^
nomadff77-- I love
Trigun, too! However,
Inuyasha is my fav! Basically, Inuyasha is a half-demon who tries to steal a sacred jewel from the priestess, Kikyo. She discovers this and seals him to a tree for 50 years. This all occurs in the feudal era of Japan. In present-day Toyko, a girl named Kagome gets pulled into a sacred well known as the "Bone-Eaters Well" (it contains the bones of slain demons) by a demon. She gets pulled back in time to the feudal era where she awakens Inuyasha. After a series of events, the sacred jewel is once again discovered, but due to an accident, it is shattered into thousands of pieces, and they are scattered all over ancient Japan. And so Kagome must team up with Inuyasha to go searching for the sacred jewel shards (just one in the wrong hands means TROUBLE). They act like they hate each other, but... Well, just watch it! You will LOVE it!
Anyways, one last fanart... This one is of Sesshomaru with Shiara, a female half-demon that I created to be his companion.
nomadff7 - November 14, 2004 03:16 PM (GMT)
Thanks for the info about it, FF_Goddess, I'll have to rent it from Netflix! It sounds interesting, I'll let you know what I think when I see it. Thanks again! :D

No problem, nomadff7! :D And, BTW, Sesshomaru is Inuyasha's half-brother. Unlike Inuyasha, Sesshomaru is a full demon. I am sure you can imagine what trouble that brings up.
Paksenarrion - December 7, 2004 10:53 PM (GMT)
Inuyasha!
*drools*
I have seen every episdode, all 167 of them, in Japanese of course. I can't seem to enjoy the english acting in this anime.
I'm also waiting to be able to dl the 4th movie. I want to see it! I was told by some people that...
[SPOILER]
Inu choses Kikyou in the end of the 4th movie.
*cries*
NO!!!
I can relate to Kagome in many ways, so I support the InuKag pairing.
FF_Goddess - December 8, 2004 01:11 AM (GMT)
Are you serious, Rouroni Aeris?!? :o That SUCKS!!! WHY would he do such a thing? Doesn't Kikyo want him dead?
Paksenarrion - December 8, 2004 02:50 AM (GMT)
Supposedly, Kikyou gets revived into a real body, or is reborn or something (even though Kagome IS her reborn soul)
Inuyasha I guess chooses Kikyou, and Kagome goes back to her time, being more appreciative of her history class.
It doesn't make any sense to me at all. Wouldn't Kagome try to fight for him, since she loves him so much? I dunno, I'm waiting for all the manga to be translated, because it is still going after the series ended, and may have a different ending?

So, that movie was the end of the series??? :o And Inuyasha's final choice was KIKYO?!?! *Kicks Inuyasha* Stupid dog-boy!!!!! GRR......

Has Anyone Actually Seen This 4th Film.
I've never seen the series but I know what it's like to be told that your fave couple are wrong, whether they are or not (IT F**KS YOU UP BIGTIME  ).
So find out if it really is true, and if it is then let's hope you lot are aren't as easily depressed when it comes to romance as I am.

I am pretty depressed about Inuyasha choosing Kikyo. I have always believed he belonged with Kagome. :( I will check into it to find out for sure... ;)
Seii Monogatari - December 9, 2004 04:52 AM (GMT)
I doubt that was true, it was probably some Inukyo fans who told you that...
I love Inukyo and Inukag... My ideal would be for Kagome to disappear back to her time once the jewel is destroyed, Inu Yasha to end up with Kikyou and then to have Kagome go back to her world, bummed out over being torn away from Inu, then meet his reincarnation, because that way both couples could be happy... that or have some wierd thing where Kikyo and Kagome would join together again...
For the longest time I totally hated Kagome, and I still cringe when I see the early episodes... I thought she was a whiny little biz-nitch... but she really grows up over the course of the show, and I'm really quite fond of the Inu Yasha x Kagome pairing, even though I like Inu Yasha x Kikyou as well. I've always loved Inu Yasha and Kikyou's relationship, and how she seems so torn about whether or not she loves him... You can tells she does, but it's like there's something holding her back...
I hate Naraku even more because of what he did, they would have been so happy together. And I hate when Kikyou is paired of with Naraku or Oni Gumo, just because they want Inu Yasha free for Kagome. I want both Kagome and Kikyou to be happy, but if you asked me, I think if it has to be one or the other, Kagome would get Inu Yasha, because she's the main girl and everything... poor Kikyou... :(
I can see Cleris in either pairing really easilly, so I guess I can't bias myself one way or another! ;)
Paksenarrion - December 9, 2004 07:00 AM (GMT)
The people who told me, apparently understand Japanese and saw the movie when it came out in October. :( I hope they're lying!!!
Kagome wasn't as whiny as a normal girl would have been. At first she wasn't running away, she helped fight the demons, and she didn't just stand there screaming. She's a lot braver than most leading girls of anime.
i have always understood how Kagome felt about Inuyasha, because I sort of went through the same thing where I met a guy who I liked a lot, but he was already involved with another woman, blah blah blah...
I remember when Inuyasha decided to stay with Kikyou that one episode when Kagome ran home. When she got back, she told Inu she wanted to stay with him anyways. He told her that she was the first person who taught him how to trust others and that he was always having a fun time with her. Then he said he wasn't allowed to have fun because he felt responsible for Kikyou's death. Kinda like, he felt a duty towards Kikyou or something.
Talisman - December 13, 2004 07:31 AM (GMT)
I love Inuyasha! It was actually the show that lured me into the world of anime. I kinda find the idea of Inuyasha choosing Kikyo over Kagome a little hard to believe. Well, really hard to believe. If that's how the anime ends I'm going to be really disappointed. Inuyasha and Kagome seem to be the most cutely co-dependent couple in anime (that I've seen so far) and an ending that leaves them apart wouldn't seem quite right to me.
Cartoon network was showing a funny Inuyasha promo over the weekend. It was nothing but clips from various episode where Kagome and Inuyasha call out each others names. "Inuyasha!" "Kagome!" I don't know if anyone else caught it but it made me smile.
Paksenarrion - December 14, 2004 07:54 AM (GMT)
Haha, I don't watch the cartoon Network Inuyasha, because it's the crappy English version. The Japanese version is the best.
I think the 4 movies that they have made aren't part of the original story though. Like the manga will be different. PLEASEEEEE be different. I'm still waiting for the 4th movie to be available for download. <_<

I know what you mean... Remember the episode where Kagome goes home and decides to never go back again? She was miserable! All she did was cry and think of Inuyasha. I cannot imagine her never seeing him again. :(

Hey now, let's not dis dubbed Anime. I happen to LOVE dubbed Anime and cannot stomach the Japanese versions (where everyone sounds like a little kid and they all sound the same). I LOVE Inuyasha's voice, it fits him PERFECTLY! :D And Sesshomaru has one of the sexiest voices I have ever heard...
Seii Monogatari - December 22, 2004 08:22 PM (GMT)
I agree, FF_G, Sesshomaru has a very sexy voice!! I love my Fluffy ... I got Kikyo and Sesshomaru statue/resin models/action figure thingies!! So purdy!! And ...

:D
Materia Thief - December 22, 2004 09:42 PM (GMT)
AWWWW...How cute!
I like all the art that's been shown here. ^^
I love Inuyasha, it's one of my favorite series. I live in America, so there isn't a shortage of anime here as there apparently is in Canada ( :shifty: *smuggles some up there* :D). If in the fourth movie, Inuyasha DOES choose Kikyo, it'd make me so sad...I'm a big Inu/Kag shipper. I also love Sango/Miroku. ^^
FF_Goddess - December 23, 2004 12:14 AM (GMT)
Adorable fanart, Seii! Is that an OC?
I love SangoxMiroku, too, Materia Thief! :D It is funny when Miroku starts touching Sango's butt and she smacks him.
Seii Monogatari - December 24, 2004 02:23 AM (GMT)
Thanks you guys!! Yeah there's a terrible anime shortage, although the Suncoast near my house carries an aweful lot (more than I could every buy!). It's whether it's the kind of anime you like or not ...
Mirosan is cute, I love them!! I don't know what is is but I get FF7 clones from that show...
Like:
Inu Yasha x Kagome = Cloud x Aeris
Inu Yasha x Kikyou = Cloud x Aeris in a different way
Miroku x Sango = Zack x Tifa
Sesshomaru x Rin = Vincent x Yuffie
There were other ones too, I just can't remember right now ...
FF_G, what's OC? If it means original copy then yes, but that's the only thing I could think of ...

I love the MirokuxSango pairing too! That show rocks, but I hardly get to watch it because I don't have cable. I heard they finished it in Japan right?

Oh, hee!! It's Rin, that little girl who tries to take care of Sesshomaru after he gets hit with the Wind Scar. Then Kouga's wolves kill her and he revives her with Tenseiga. She's so cute!! She's like his little sister almost!! And it's great because he "hates" humans so much and still he cares about her. I know at some point in the later episodes Kikyo saves her, I don't remember what from, but I read about it a magazine episode summary ...

"I know at some point in the later episodes Kikyo saves her"
you'll find out in season 4, she saves her from Sui+Jakotsu.
I used to worship InuKag but then Kagome started to annoy me a tad bit.. Well, I usually dislike Rumiko's main female characters, take Akane (Ranma 1/2) for example, so this wasn't really a surprise. I did like Kagome in the beginning though, and I used to loathe Kikyou, now it's kinda vice versa. I love InuKik so much now, it's a drama, sad, umm tragic, beautiful relationship. And Kagome, I want her with Kouga! God, poor sweet dear Kouga, Ayame is a big NO for him, I wish Kag would give him a chance.
In Japan, Kikyou's actually much more liked than Kagome, who knows why? And InuKik's also a lot more popular there than here. Dunno, felt like bringing that up. Though the InuKag pairing seems awfully cannon..I don't care who Inuyasha ends up with really, but I just want Kikyou's soul to rest in peace, she's been such a sad sad person.
I have never watched dubbed anime without critisizing it, aah =D , so far I've seen anime dubbed in chinese, english, bahasa melayu (country's national language), and err cantonese, no more.
