I'm still quite new, so excuse my uncreativity with emotions and banners. I kinda needed help with something and I didn't quite know where to put this. So I figured here would do.
You see I've made final fantasy videos on my computer, one, which is a Cloud one, I'm particularly proud of, but I can't seem to get it on the web. And just for an extra mention, I made a Aeris site too, and I can't seem to get that on the web. It's depressing, cos I have all this footage and pictures, art, loads of fanfiction. And yet I can't share it with the world. Though my video is the main focus here. If anyone would be as kind as to give me advice, or even host me-though that's pushing things a bit, but any help would be kind.

First of all, the best place (in my opinion) to host a site for free, is Geocities, which I am using right now to make my Aeris and Tifa shrine. What did you code your site in? If it's in html, just upload all the html files through file manager and boom! Instant site. ^_^

The Cloud Video is a bit trickier. I think this should do the trick however:

Actually, while this is still an appropriate place, the Help and Suggestions Forum is also good. Don't worry, you'll get used to this whole place and be zooming around it in no time! ^_^

Thanx, you see I tried using Geocites but it wouldn't work on my computer. And I used Microsoft frontpage to make it. I tried looking for hosts but the nitty grittys were simply eluding me.

You should be able to upload the video here: AnimeMusicVideos.org People will have to download it from your account before viewing it, though.

I'm really sorry I posted it in two places. Sheesh I can be such a nitwit. I'll get used to everything fast. I will. Anyway, I'm already a member of AMV.org and my computer refuses to let me upload my vids. Though I tried Geocities again, and thankfully, it worked-kinda, not enough space, but I'll work around that, I'll have to find a way to. Or whatever. But thankyou loads and sorry about that.

Geocities only gives you 15 MB, though. Didn't you say in the other thread that your movie was about 45 MB? :unsure: Geocities will never hold it.

I suppose you could try uploading it here, too: You Send It. I think that site allows for about 20(?) downloads (if I remember right), but I'm not sure how large a file it will hold.

It says it can send up to 1GB so no problems then. It says 'Recipient's Email Address'-what address would I have to type in there in order to send it here, or upload it here.

Just use your own email address.

All they send is a link to a site where you can download the attachment, so you can post the link here. Then people can go to the site and download it. :)

Well I managed to get my Aeris webpage up, my friend has offered to take it and work on it as soon as she can, so that would be nice, she's also a loyal Clorith, actually, I should probably try to get her to join.

People can download your video, too! :woot: Congrats! I'm only on a phone modem right now, so I'll wait til I have access to a cable modem on Monday. Just to let you know - you won't be able to host your video on your geocities site. Geocities will only hold 15 MB, and your vid's almost 45 MB's.

Hmmm, now I'm just wondering, in 'Fantasy Cluedo acadameny' I'm going to make a band, but after all this time I STILL can't seem to think of an appropiate female lead. It has to be someone from Final Fantas 7, 8, or 9. I don't want it to be someone too predictable either, hmmm, perhaps I might ask the odd person in this forum in my travels cos I don't really know.

Oh yes and it would be very much appreciated if anyone would would take the time to tell me what they think of my vids or sites so I know how I'm doing.
