Seiken Densetsu: The World of Mana?

On April 7, 2005, Square Enix registered the name "World of Mana" with the United States Patent and Trademark Office along with a logo. [The logo can be seen here: http://squarenet.gamigo.de/main.php?site=sn-news]

Whether this is a name for another game in the Seiken Densetsu ("Mana") series is not yet known. It has only been announced that a further part of the Seiken Densetsu series is planned for the Nintendo DS, although no details have been published so far.

I wouldn't mind seeing another Seiken Densetsu game. I remember playing the first ones long ago and I liked them. But then again Square might just buy the name to make sure no on else can, and to have it there up their sleeve just in case in some distant future they run out of game ideas and decide to continue some old series. Who knows..
