Kingdom Hearts 2: New from Jump
News of 13.04.2005

After a long period of waiting, the current issue of Jump magazine offers a report about Kingdom Hearts 2. Here are some DigiCam photos of the article:

Hercules, Auron, Hades, and Mulan can be seen in the scan as well as Sora and company. There's no real new information, however. Unfortunately, the quality of the scans isn't the best. Perhaps a scan of better quality will be offered later in the week.

Kingdom Hearts 2 is scheduled to appear for the PS2 in Japan sometime in 2005.

The one in the lower-right corner right? I think that's Sora...*squints* I can't really tell though, the scan is so small. I'm almost entirely sure it's Sora though, seeing as how that's his clothes and keyblade.

It's kind of good. Though I do wish that Square would reveal more than Mulan, Hercules, and Auron.

According to SquareNet, the picture in the bottom left hand corner shows Sora saying, "But you are Riku!!"

On which page? :unsure: I don't see any pictures of the blonde kid, so I think the one you mean is Sora. Sora's hair looks awfully blonde in these pics.

Sora: But you're Riku!
Unknown: But you're Cloud!

WOW!!! Auron can join you actively in the party!!! Does this mean Squall and Yuffie and Cloud can to???!!!

Nothing's been said about Squall, Yuffie, Cloud, or Aerith in KH2 yet. I wouldn't bet on controlling them, though. The only control Square gave of Cloud in CoM was to have him as a summons after defeating him. I sorta doubt they'd go beyond that in KH2. It'd be great to have control of Cloud with an option to "kiss Aerith" in KH2, though! :lol:

I think the tense is wrong there. It looks closer to "so [it] was Riku!" to me (implying that maybe he thought Riku was there, and it was confirmed).
