Here is a club for all Garnet / Dagger fans. Garnet from Final Fantasy IX is my favorite Final Fantasy character. Well, one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters. I have so many favorites. Dagger is one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters. Dagger from Final Fantasy IX is a wonderful character. Here is a fanclub for her. Princess Garnet til Alexandros the 17th is the princess of Alexandria. When she meets Zidane, she goes on a quest and Garnet changes her name to Dagger. Dagger represents her new identity for her adventure. Garnet was Princess fo Alexandria since she was young, but her real name is Sara. She was born in Madain Sari but arrived at Alexandria after a boat crash. She has the same name as the princess in the first Final Fantasy. Garnet later becomes Queen and shows amazing strength through the game. Here is a club for all Garnet/Dagger fans.

It's so strange; I was on the verge of starting a club like this myself! :lol:

Anyway, I would love to join. Garnet is one of my all-time favourite FF characters, for many reasons; her story, her history, her romance, and of course her character. In my opinion, she's definitely one of the more complicated and interesting characters in the entire series. I agree with you that she shows true strength in the game, and I found her strength to be all the more noble and brilliant because it's not something that comes naturally to her at first, because of the sheltered life she's lived as a princess up to that point. During the game, it's great to see her realize her own potential and inner-strength. I thought she was extremely courageous throughout the game, in so many different ways, and her compassion, her protective nature, her loneliness, her fears, insecurities and her tendancy to always blame herself really moved me. I really admired and appreciated her character and seeing her and Zidane have their wonderful happy ending totally melted my heart. :huggle:

And she has a lovely singing voice, too! ^_^

Garnet is teh roxors!
I loved how headstrong and brave she was, and how much she truly cared for her people.

WHOO~ Yes, Dagger! My very first cosplay! Oh, how I adored her! Even during her irritating silent times, I kept her in my party because I knew that gradually, she'd start fighting back! I loved how she behaved around everyone else in the party too! Big sister to Vivi and Eiko, shy and refined flirting with Zidane, grateful exasperation with Steiner, and so on!

I loved this game, and she was part of the reason why. >3

Count me in as well! I love kickass princess, and Dagger is certainly in that category. I like how she doesn't wait around for Zidane to rescue her all the time - she goes out and finds a solution on her own. She strives to be so independent but needs to learn it's okay to ask for help once in a while, and that it's also okay that she does shoulder responsibility for everything.

Could babble on and on about her, she's so awesome. <3
