I tried a demo of this, and after doing so, decided to get it...

A couple of short flights at dusk in Jackson Hole, WY...

It has quite a bit of detail...

A nice VC, though a bit more default gauges than I would have liked...

Some nice extras were still present, such as the sunshields!

You can put them up and down (the window opens too!)

The takeoff was a bit anemic...

Couldn't get going above 80 KIAS either...

user posted image

that could be the thin air...

or maybe that's just the way the Tomahawk is!

As I was coming in, I noticed some smoke rising from a hill to the NorthEast of the Airport (some Bill Lyons scenery no doubt).

I decided to check it out. I had a Lear coming in, and one behind me (lots were parked at the airport too...evidently, Jackson Hole is a popular place for owners of LearJets!)

Had to take some shots!

Why I like dawn/dusk shots...

Not a bad package, all in all. The sound is one of the best things about it!

It is a bit pricey ($19), but I got it for $10 by signing up with JustFlight...I can't complain!

A very nice and well illustrated review of the JustFlight Tomahawk jordonj thumbsupguy.gif . For $10US you can't really complain, as you do show us that the planes quality is quite good. I really like the exterior and interior of the Tomahawk, even though it displays a lot of the default gauges (which I don't think is a big problem). Can you tell us how the FPS are when parked on the concrete and when airbourne. Thanks for posting this great review cheers.gif . Happy flying.

No hit on FPS that I could tell. It's not as fancy as say...Carenado or FSD, but..it's a Piper Tomahawk!

Some of the switches are hard to get to in the VC, because of where they exist in the real aircraft...sometimes modeling something to be real can be a bit of a tradeoff...

But it doesn't look shabby by any stretch of the imagination! As I said, it's not exactly cheap, but I still am happy with it!
