One of the biggest challenges that scenery developers face when making scenery for the flight simulator world, is having a quality product which is frame rate friendly. Aerosoft has yet again succeeded in making a beautiful photorealistic mesh which is frame rate friendly, and still displays perfect quality.

The Bavarian mountain range is said to be one of the most beautiful in the world, and Aerosoft has made a beautiful mesh that makes it one the nicest mountain range in the Flight Simulator World. The attention that was given to detail with this mesh is amazing, and it is evident that time has been spent on the creation of it. The creators of this wonderful mesh used an amazing resolution of 0.5m per pixel meaning that all of the little details have been included. The roads,, rivers, and other geographical features of this region of the world have been recreated very clearly, and you could find your way around the mesh with a roadmap. The detail that has been put into this project by the developers from Aerosoft adds great value to their already worthy product.

Although Real Germany 3 has great detail, and lots of quality many people ask themselves how it will run on their computers. This mesh is quite substantial in the disk space that it requires, but the frames per second when flying over this mesh are almost untouched. It seems as if there is no change to the mesh if you’d base yourself on the frames per second. Aerosoft has done a great job on presenting detail, while preserving frame rates. This is a very hard goal to reach, but the developers of Real Germany 3 have achieved this honour.

The loading time for Real Germany 3 is quite lengthy though. With a BGL file that is over 3GB in size, the scenery for this region will take a few more minutes than usual to load up. This might be somewhat irritating at times but while the scenery is loading you can make yourself a coffee, take care of some household chores, or make a phone call or two. This mesh might take a while to load, but once it’s loaded you will enjoy great frame rates and a superior quality mesh.

The value that you receive whenever you buy Real Germany 3 Bavaria is another fact that is very notable. The product is sold for $32.39USD, while other photorealistic meshes can sell for over $40USD. With Real Germany 3 you receive a wonderfully detailed mesh, a manual, and maps that indicate all airports, comm. frequencies and outlines all geographical features of the area that the mesh covers. With Real Germany 3 you get your money’s worth, as there are various bonuses which you receive for free along with the product.

The developers from Aerosoft have done a great job in creating the Real Germany 3 Bavaria photorealistic mesh for Flight Simulator. The detail and quality is great, the frames are great, you get value for your money, and it is an easy scenery to install. If you add everything up you end up with a must buy product. I rate Aerosoft’s Real Germany 3 Bavaria 9.7 out of 10! Congratulations on another great product.

There are no real Bad points George, it's just that you need to keep in mind that you need a fairly strong processor to handle this mesh (3GB). Otherwise as you can probably see in the review above it a great addon for your game. Happy flying.
