I have now watched Perfect Blue for the second time...still have bloody clue whats the true reality and purpose of the film.

I talked to my friend who said he watched it 7 times before things started clicking. Unfortunatly the bastard will not talk to me about the movie until I have watched it the same amount of times. (something about it being to complex to start explaining until you know it very well). Even he dosen't understand everything still, and now that he has moved away I doubt I will get much of a chance to discuss it with him.

If anyone has seen this movie I wouldn't mind talking to ya, and trying to break it down.


Also if you haven't seen this and you want a movie you want to really think about then this is probably your best bet.

This is the only movie I have not been able to break down, and figure out all or at least most the subtle meanings. Fortunatly, or unfortunatly depending on how you see it, I have yet to find (via interenet) a person how has really deciphered the movie besides skimming the top. To make this task more difficult, the director himself didn't know how this was going to end when making the movie...which says something since the ending is almost always the first thing the director films...

You can find this movie in most video stores or via torrent.

This movie does contain nudity, scenes displaying rape (well sort of),some violence (slasher style), and pretty pathetic language (If you actually read some of my posts, then forget about this last one then :P :mellow: <_< )


Also don't get cocky thinking you know what it is all about in the beginning, like I did, it is the ending that is really fucked up (an apt way of putting it, now that I think about it).
