So, I have discovered in the past six months that I like rap/hip hop music (I still love rock and punk soooooooooooooo much more, though). Just curious if any of you gents enjoy rap?

I can give you one whoop, I like almost all types of Music including Rap. My personel favourite genre is Rock and almost all its associated sub-groups. However I really hate some Rock, just like I really hate some Rap, its all just a matter of taste.

I like some rap (only Eminem though), but also metal (in whatever type) and such.

Hahahahaha, they look like they just came out of a cheap 1980's horror movie.

I am not to much into rap, I'm more of a beat man then a lyrric one. I do admit that I like Eminem, and maybe a song here or there, but most of time I find they are rapping either about getting high, scoring large, or having the bling bling.

Like I said before, I am more in to the beats, so I tend to like Techno, Rock, hip hop (non of that girly nsync or backstreet boy crap though) and just about everything else.

For those of you who like Eminem he has a new album out called Encore which is pretty sweet. The songs I like on it are: Evil Deeds, Never Enough, Yellow Brick Road, Like Toy Soldiers*, Mosh*, Ass like that, Spend Some Time, MockingBird, One Shot 2 Shot. The ones with the * are my favs on it.

So, what band do you guys go whoop whoop for?

More beats huh Xeno? Well then techno is the way to go my friend, not only is it the trippiest shit ever, but it sounds amazing...also fun to dance to. Also, if you are into beats, then instrumental rap is also great, I don't produce my own instrumentals yet, but maybe someday I will, for now emceen is enough.

ye techno is the music i enjoy the most. You can really get in tune with it.

I agree techno is a big thing with me (hence it was first on the list), and which is also tied to dance (an offspring of techno and hip-hop).

Basically anything that has some kicking beats or one that gets the blood really going.

Any good techno bands or songs out there from me to hear? I listened to Daft Punk for a while until it began to give me headaches (for real).

I like Rap, not all rap though, i don't like all 50's music, like mostof eminems, and methodman. bustarhymes is cool 2. Tupac has got some the best music, and the new releases e.g Ghetto Gospel are great as well :P.

i prefer muse, nirvana, rhcp ect though really :).
