Well, I was wondering. When we are fighting and it comes down to good old 1 on 1 combat, what is your preferred weapon?

Mine would be brass knuckles embedded onto iron glove.
And for defence a light chainmail, and on each arm a small buckler.

Two handed Great axe, and either scale or mail armour, with a hardened leather under jerkin for protection. :)

Machinegun 7.62 MM MAG, 700-750 rounds a minut, 200-1800 meter range.

;) Have fun finding the ammo for that baby in Game.

I'll be hitting Mail or Scale armour, and like zelda a hard leather jerkin beneath. As for weapons I'll use a Lance, A Spatha (Calvary Sword) and A Composie bow with arrows, a sheild too.

A thicknig coating of grease and a match :)

Longsword and large shield for me. Chainmail is preferred.

Well, for my armor I will be wearing gold armor with a gold plated emerald for my helmet. My boots will also be gold plated, but they will have diamond soles (diamond gives good arch support). My weapon shall be an 8 foot long gold sword with an ivory handle, which will also be gold plated. For my transport, I will ride upon a mighty stallion which will be gold plated (except for its hooves which will be sapphires, and its mane which will be peacock feathers). Considering that my horse may not be able to move (possibly due to the gold plating) I will paint 8 slaves gold in order to care my horse and I around.

I will stroll into combat wearing the Luxurist royal purple cape, with a dashing feather hat made from the exotic peacock. For my tunic I think I will go for a Guchi style silk shirt embedded with small emeralds and rubies. For my pants I think I will go for the breezy tight tights made from real egyption cotton. My shoes, oh boy my shoes, will be made from real snake skin which I make sure are licked clean by my pet dogs, lucina and Bob.

For my weapon a beautiful golden staff made from the mines in Nubia.

Gold is tacky, I'll go black velvet cape with silver woven into patterns, I'll have red valvet pants and white cotten shirt *with ruffles* for my hat I'll have a wizard style hat in black velvet. I dunno about my staff.

Velvet is so 80s. Gold is what's hot, man.

I thought gold was a weak metal .... wouldnt his gold armor be like useless?? unless it was like 14 karat or something ... with steel in it :) . I also dont think they'd let you have gold armour ... unless like parts of asrmor being gold :)

steel, iron, blend of 2 metals, copper,bronze ...
(a red or green chrystal to get something like these guys => :starwars: )

Velvets in, gold is so overrated, its all about the silver these days. I'd opt for a steel silver gilded stave to whoop any peasents unwilling to pay their taxes.

along the same lines as the dude above. A fairly heavy throwing axe.

Well, probably a Steel medium-short sword with either a small dagger or small shield. As a backup I'd have javelins w/ bronze heads or a pretty hefty bow. Armor would be some kind of leather, probably medium-hard. Then I would have a fairly open iron helm.

I'd laugh if I saw someone in a battle with pure gold armor. They wouldn't be able to take one swing before a war hammer crushed them like an aluminum can.

I'd wear gold just to show how good I was, but I wouldnt fight lol.

I would use a targe (shield with point in the middle) and a sword.

Oh common, try and spice it up a little and make it interesting. This is just for kicks, remember.

You have to admit it would be way more effective then your outfit........ Unless that peacock feather scares all the opposition. :lol:

Hey if your going to fight someone you might as well do it with some flair.

Well my chosen weapon will be a ledger full of the guilds expenses, Since it's obvious we wont have any income because we'll be spending it all on peacock feathers.
