How many people here play CoD semi-actively?

I play CoD:UO from time to time

Cause I'm in a clan where over half the people left, and we're desperate to recruit new members.

Me and Nightmare started a new guild not only for CoD but for Medal of Honor Allied Assault, Day of Defeat, and Counter-Strike (old and source) as well. You don't need all four games to join, just one. If any of you guys are interested, by all means apply.

I play CoD from time to time but I don't have the time to really be an active member like I am here.

I might be able to play a couple hours a week, though. If there is no...skill requirement ;) I wouldn't mind joining your clan there.

No skill requirement at all Xeno. Anyone is welcome, and you don't have to be die-hard, it's just a happy-go-lucky type clan. If we get enough members, we'll might have scrims.

Call of Duty was awesome when I used to play. The only problem was sniping, going across a field was utter suicide because of them and grenades.

I haven't played in a long while since I dont like UO much, vehicles are too frequent and annoying hehe.

Can't wait for CoD 2 though :D

Ya, I know what you mean by sniping... it becomes a real pain in the ass in large open maps.

As for vehicles, that is one of the reasons I play the original instead of UO.

Yes, the tanks get very annoying in UO, but the map Monte Cassino is pretty sweet.

It definately will. 10 members is a lot better than...well, 4.

It's not exactly Call of Duty but I just got the Battlefield 2 demo and it's fairly awesome. Anyone gonna play it?

I think I might have played that game over at Jons, but I don't remember it at all. Havn't been playing many games lately, but I just downloaded the demo of that new game battlefield 2 and it's great.

F**ken EA GAMES I have another reason to hate them now, for putting out a game that no 2 year old computers can play.

I bought my last graphic card 18 months ago. DirectX 9 cards had just came out and all the NVidia DirectX 9 cards sucked so I got a good old Ti 4200 which just rocked then and no games used DirectX 9 then anyway. So it was a good buy but I knew that I wouldn't get the best graphics in games coming out because it didn't support Direct X 9 but so what as long as I get good frame rates.

Today for some reason EA Games decided not to bother making their new game compatible with Direct X 8.1 cards :mordhak:

I here by put A $1 bounty on the head of the person at EA Games who thought it wasn't worth while making their game run on Direct X 8.1 cards :evil: :lol:

Also what about this battlefield, the reason the previous installement sucked (I admit it now) is because of the many AI bugs and the... competence of its actions (I such glitch is your AI all running around your main base doing absolutly nothing, will the comp AI takes over all your bases [consequently the more bases they have over you, the more men you lose continually... those with the game know what I mean]).

So how is the AI, and gameplay for this one?
