Title: Hello there.

Some of you guys may have seen me at the Total war forums, but to those who don’t I’m zelda12 or Zelda or zel or big Z whatever floats your boat.

I think I should be allowed to join you clan of Barbarian warriors because I’m an independent guy but a smart one also who sees strength in unity and in Strength victory. I’m also a bit of an insane lunatic when it comes to fighting.

My basic tactic revolves around firing my bow until I run out of ammo then charging into the fray and killing everything I see that doesn’t look like a friend. In short I’m the perfect barbarian. If there’s a suicidal attack needed then I’m your man.

I can also be extremely sneaky when the occasion calls for it. Houses burned to the ground, dead taxmen and bribed officials. Alls fair in love and war.

Good to see that you came zelda. I will discuss this with my fellow guild members and we will reply to this ASAP, for now please bookmark our forums.

zelda12 - February 14, 2005 01:07 PM (GMT)
Bookmarked already.

Lhorkan - February 14, 2005 03:16 PM (GMT)
Nice, our first candidate of becoming a member. Good to see reaction so quick. :)

Mordhak - February 14, 2005 03:38 PM (GMT)
Judging by your post, you seem worthy of becoming one of us. I'll keep an eye on you. :)

The council has voted on your appliance, and you are admitted with no votes in your disfavour. We do, however, recommend a name-change.

You are now officially part of our brotherhood. May you serve us well, and may we be worthy of your stay with us.

As a Barbarian I can choose any name I wish. Any man who chooses to dispute it can engage me in discusion whilst I ram my sword down his throat. :D

The name will give me more excuses to fight people. Which makes me happier! :) It also lulls people into a sense of self security, people don't expect a guy called zelda to kick them in the nuts and steal their money purse.

But other than that I humbly accept the position in the clan. I hope I will prove usefull and be given the opportunity to kill many Romans and other people of various backgrounds and upbringing for their money! :D

I like your enthousiasm, but remember, we are organized barbarians. We are supposed to be the elite, the crème de la crème of the free men.

One man on his own is as vulnerable as a newborn bird;
A band of organized men sticking to each other are as vicious as an eagle.

Remember that above all, for we are not the next best hole of muggers. We're a band of brothers.

zelda12 - February 14, 2005 06:08 PM (GMT)
I understand the whole united we stand alone we fall thing, I agree on it. Strength in numbers is a good thing.

I can still mug in moderation though? Its just that its a really good way of making money. Especially if theres any tax collectors in the region. If we have money then we can hire lots of NPC characters to act as arrow fodder. Leaving out actual members to do the important jobs like taking out the enemy commanders and generals.

Mordhak - February 14, 2005 06:11 PM (GMT)
Sure, you can rob whoever you want, as long as it doesn't get you, and with you, the whole clan, into trouble. :)

zelda12 - February 14, 2005 06:13 PM (GMT)
I promise to only attack NPC's and anyone who insults me annoys me or looks at me in the wrong way. :D

Lhorkan - February 14, 2005 06:14 PM (GMT)
Yes, you sound like just the one to join the "brigand branch", if we would still call it like this. It would be nice if we'll still do this... And there's no need to keep it that hidden this time :)

zelda12 - February 14, 2005 06:29 PM (GMT)
So am I officialy a clan member then?

If so then great! :D

Lhorkan - February 14, 2005 06:33 PM (GMT)
Yes.

So...any chance of being let into the tribal discussion area which has a password lock on it? Just wondering as it says clan members only and I am supposedly a clan member. B)

Lhorkan - February 14, 2005 07:12 PM (GMT)
Someone will PM you the password. :)

Mordhak - February 14, 2005 07:12 PM (GMT)
I did. :)

zelda12 - February 14, 2005 07:14 PM (GMT)
cheers.

Mordhak - February 14, 2005 07:19 PM (GMT)
This ends all further necessity to keep this topic open. Welcome, zelda12! :D
