Just reading all the topics on this forum i came across one mentioning The lombard league and was curious how it ties into Roma Victor. If I'm not mistaken wasnt the lombard league a coalition of Italian communes against the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick I when he attempted to assert his imperial authority in Lombardy.

just incase some of you reading this jump to wild notions I did NOT copy&paste this, unlike some unscrupulous 14 year olds I do have a grasp of history and its events.

Well, you did your best in guessing what the name meant, and historically, it's exactly like you said. But in Roma Victor context, it's an alliance of 3 barbarian guilds: the Bràthair Prasgan (us), Etruria and the Fulk es Waldus (or something like that). However, we had some serious issues with the leader of Etruria, a 13 year old bastard with a high concentration of flaming neurons in his brain. In other words, an asshole. So we stepped out of the alliance, especially because that asshole was reading our private forums here (the spy you heard talking about, that's the one who most likely gave him the password).

But now Adam, the asshole, has been kicked out of the leader position by his fellow guildmembers, because he was spreading Etruria's bad reputation to the Roman Empire and beyond. So now they're peaceful again... but we don't really know if we want an alliance with them or not.

Mordhak has the right of it. We may or may not join the lombard league again (don't count on it though). In any event it was a learning experiance and will only make us stronger if we think of it as such.

I, from personmal experince greatly encourage you guys not to join it ...... that is if there is any left of it. For now, Adam is now knig and I personally dislike him and his ways .... I would know tooo, I was with him for 6 months. He lies much, and I now trueally belvie every lie hes been convicted of ... and everything he says I must wonder if it is true... though now ive severed the ties between me and him very thin.

So, the message is: DONT JOIN THE LOMBARD LEAGUE. :(

Oh yes, we have not intention of doing so... we left a long time ago and rarely looked back. For a while we kept quite since we didn't want to draw a dangerous war with Eturia and the fulk. Now, though, Eturia is so weak that it will crumble by it self and the fulk has too few members to worry about.

We would have made it offical, but when it was seen that LL was to weak to combat us, we hardly cared about them and the subject.

Hopefully the Lombarb league shall crumble just as the BArbarian UN (To hopeful) and the league of nations :P.

i know it is a bit of topic, but could someone give a heads up on current aliances between barb guilds and ebetween roman????

I wonder is the LL still in power?

Eturia has gone down the drain, the fulk have not been heard for... well the only guys I know of in the fulk are Rogan and Capo and I have not seen either since Capo left.

Does anyone know if the LL is still around?

I wouldnt count on it, seems both clans are "sleeping".

Nullisecundus is right, Fulk alf waldus is sleeping, they are inactive becuase the game isn tout yet ... Rogan/Keenan is on everyday that I know of .... guess it the time zones.

I think really Fulk and Etruia are in it, and Adam is "mergeing" Etruia (which is only him ) with some greek colony guild, or so he says on the forums.
