NulliSecundus - April 27, 2005 10:29 AM (GMT)
I'm sure many of you are aware of Team Speak *voice chat program* I dont have to means to seccure our own channel but maybe one of the leaders could, this would allow us to discuss many clan issues in real time, chat about anything, listen to my cool Australian accent. I'd like it very much to talk to you all and hear your thoughts on the clan and any other real life issues, And maybe you'll listen to mine :P.
Mordhak - April 27, 2005 11:21 AM (GMT)
I have got... connections, people who would maybe be able to get us a server. :ph43r:
Will talk to them as soon as possible. Teamspeak would ease gameplay a lot.
NulliSecundus - April 27, 2005 11:24 AM (GMT)
Indeed, I look forward to the debates we will have.
Lhorkan - April 27, 2005 01:00 PM (GMT)
Well, if timezones don't make a problem for you...
Cpt.Wenis - May 3, 2005 05:00 AM (GMT)
Timzones do raise an issue of communication. Kinda hard to talk to people if for everyone else it's 3am.
NulliSecundus - May 3, 2005 05:22 AM (GMT)
Pfft, I wouldnt stay up to 3 am to talk to you, but anything under 9pm?
Xenophon - May 15, 2005 12:44 AM (GMT)
This a good idea but not a must have. In Roma Victor it shouldn't be too difficult to talk to other members while playing.
Besides why do you need to talk to someone (with teamspeak) who is not playing the game? Could you not leave a message (hotmail/forum) so when they wake up they get the info then?
Also, who much is team speak and the mic required for it? If the mic is something like $120 then forget it, you can use msn or Roma Victor chat.
NulliSecundus - May 15, 2005 05:13 AM (GMT)
LOL, I paid 15 bucks for my mic, I'm cheap I know it.....
Xenophon - May 15, 2005 05:26 AM (GMT)
15, eh? Well I think I will spend a bit more then that. I will check out Future Shop to see if they got any half decent ones there.
Xenophon - July 24, 2005 05:30 AM (GMT)
Alright, I was wondering, how the hell do you download it?
I have spent over a week of going to their download section and trying to dl it but nothing happens.
I would love to use this software as it would be pretty cool to chat with each other while playing the game.
NulliSecundus - July 24, 2005 08:50 AM (GMT)
hmmm...
Go to
http://www.goteamspeak.com/news.phpclick on download under team speak 2
Now I'm guessing you just want the client so click on the Teamspeak 2 Win32 Client (RC2)
version: 2.0.32.60
size: 5.8 MB
and you should get an pop up that asks you to either save or open, I usually save incase I need to uninstall or re-install later.
I might try and host a TS server for us all, I'm not promissing anything but I will try it.
NulliSecundus - July 24, 2005 08:55 AM (GMT)
Costs money, so forget it lol.....0.14.....as if I'm paying that!
Xenophon - July 25, 2005 12:13 AM (GMT)
Alright which of you guys has a mic?
You should go on team speak right now and chat it up with me.
Current list of members with a mic and team speak:
- Xenophon
The server should be up most of the day.
Xenophon - July 25, 2005 12:23 AM (GMT)
Ok, since I am new at this I have a few stupid questions.
1. Do you need to press a button to speak? Which button is it?
2. Is there user profiles... I can't seem to find any buttons allowing me to make one <_<
Also you guys should get xfire. It is a sweat program for managing your games and friends.
My profile name is Xenophon21 add me to your friends list.
NulliSecundus - July 25, 2005 06:49 AM (GMT)
You can set it in settings to be button activated but I've got my mic on voice.
There arnt member profiles but people can register to the server.
I have xfire, my names delirium1o1

I have a very shitty mic that I just found in my room a week ago or so, came from the SOCOM PS2 game.
NulliSecundus - July 25, 2005 07:49 AM (GMT)
I have a good mic, good being that it only cost me 15 bucks :D
