Well, I talked to Amir just now, and he says that he can give us a site and forums, plus our domain name.

We won't be able to get that for about another week or so, so in the time being we can use these forums as our HQ.

Running into some problems now....It will cost us $7 american to get a domain name for a year, my friend can give us free webhosting, but then we will need to get a website up and learn HTML. Any suggestions?

That is the link, please keep in mind that this was really quickly made to test out what I could do, and I am not that impressed, however I don't think it is better the geocities,but would never go with either of them.

No, thats ok the one you have now is good; it just needs some work (pictures, text, games...)

I like the idea of a gallery (im sure posted this some where else too :unsure: ) Maybe we could have the RV gallery, and user gallery where we can posts interesting pics.

As for games we could have:

- Solitare (the back of the cards could be our logo)
-pong (one of the most addicative games out there)
- a colouring board where user's can draw different pictures and save them (and maybe upload them to the gallery we should have...)
- Bowman (if some one can program or *cough rip cough*
- artillery (a sweet game)

It would be amazing if you could some how play other people online like with artillery/pong/ bowman. Do's anyone know if we could do this and how?

I like the idea of the history thing, but maybe you could stick it off to the side or somthing. No need to draw attention to such a minor thing.

What would be brilliant is if we had a clan fmv ::whistles a short tune:: yah that would be great.

Just talked to keenan about it, and he gave me some pretty good advice. So now I think I will try using front page program, so that I can use HTML or just go with their interface. I will register for a domain name, but it will be a free one from .tk

Did I just hear frontpage? :blink: By all means, even a crappy html site made in notepad is better than a frontpage site... It might work the first time, but it's horrible when you make changes later on. Also, the code gets full of "Microsoft Frontpage" stuff, screwing it all up. If I had to chose, I'd try to avoid frontpage.

We should take our time with creating a website. Recruiting will go without a site for now also, and when we want to hurry with making one, we'll regret that later.

Who is going to make a new one?? Since bthizle is the only one of us that has attempted to make one, I don't think we will get a new one. Too bad really the one we have now has so much potenial.
