Name: Pretty obvious, put the name of your character. First and last
Username: Also pretty obvious. Put your username.
Rank: As you join Caravans and go on adventures there are different levels of Caravanners, like the newbies and the veterens, these differences are the different Ranks. The titles of the ranks are,
Neovan: The Newbies. Just fresh off the block. Are usually 16-19
Taivan: Have been out in the wilds a bit. Know the ropes.. usually 18-21
Kiovan: Have been in a Caravan for a while. Have fought many monsters and seen many things. They know a lot. usually 19-25
Xaivan: They are the veterens. They are trained in using their Lifes Energy, and they know their way around the block. The most skilled and the strongest. usually 24+
You may start as any one of them, although it will be very difficult to get a character past Taivan, since I want people to gain ranks instead of starting as one. To symbolize the different ranks experience,
Neovan starts with 210 Training Points, and 2 Clan points at Clan Level 1
Taivan starts with 500 Training Points, and 8 Clan Points at Clan Level 2
Kiovan starts with 2000 Training Points, and 13 Clan Points at Clan Level 3
and Xaivan starts with 5000 Training Points, 20 Clan Points at Clan Level 4
Money: There are 100 Bronze to one Silver coin, there is 10 Silver coins to one Gold coin. Everyone starts out with 5 silver if you're taivan. More if you start higher, and 1 silver if you start as a neovan.
Stat Point Conversion: In order to increase your stats you need stat points, however, all you have is training points... so how do you convert (you might ask). It's easy, 5 training points is 1 stat point. So if you wanted 2 stat points it'd be 10 training points (5+5).
Age: You MUST have a character 16 or older, unless you want to start in the training for the Clans instead of bieng on a caravan. If you are starting as a
Neovan, the age should be 16, unless you were late in joining a caravan or something. For
Taivan you
must be older than 16, for
Kiovan you
must be older than 17, and for
Xaivan you
must be older than 19
Starting Location: Where you are starting, doesn't have to be in the city your clan is located, because travelling is common for Caravanners. If you are younger than 16 and are going through the training you must be in the same city as your clan, as you are learning your skills.
Jewel: See the
Jewel ThreadAppearance: Nice and detailed. The more detailed the better it is and the more easier it is to accept you for a higher rank.
Personality: Nothing big, just an overview. I never liked this too much because you truely develop your character's personality as you RP, but still give this a good paragraph or two
History: The more detail the better. Even if it is long, you must have a good history if you want to start out as better than a Neovan (Although starting as a Neovan is still good. Don't get me wrong). Make A Good History. Using RPG samples will be very good, you'll get brownie points (maybe a few tp) and you will be accepted to the higher ranks easier.
Clan: Choose your clan from the list. You will use your Clan's stats to change your charcter's stats.
Statistics: Very important, the most important of all. This shows your strength, life and more. If you want to increase any one of your stats you must pay
Training Points or also known as
TP. The Costs are,
Stat =2: Costs 10 TP
3: Costs 15 TP
4: Costs 20 TP
5: Costs 25 TP
6: Costs 30 TP
7: Costs 35 TP
8: Costs 40 TP
9: Costs 45 TP
10: Costs 50 TP
ect....
This table means, if you have (for example) a strength of 2 and you want to go to a strength of 3 you must pay 15 Training Points. If you have a strength of 5 and you want to go to a strength of 6, you must pay 30 Training Points. The overall Pattern is that the stat that you want costs 5 times the stat number (IE: 5*6=30 TP).
If you want to increase a stat from 1 to 5, you must pay for EVERY STEP IN BETWEEN. In other words, you have to pay 10 TP to raise it to 2, then pay 15 TP to raise it to 3, and 20 TP to raise it to 4, then 25 TP to finally raise it to 5.
If you have ANY questions, please consult any experienced member or an Administrator. Any stat bonuses due to Clans (+1 to Endurance and Strength for Weapons Clan) are factored in
before modifying your stats with Experience Points.
HOWEVER, stat bonuses you BUY with CLAN POINTS go in AFTER (restrictions are mentioned on the clan page).
Base Stats:Dexterity 1 (How agile you are... it's important for various reasons)
Endurance 1 (How much you can take. Basically your defence but should probably be called your life)
Intelligence 2 (How Inteligent you are. Intelligence is taking what you are given and don't know about to solve problems. Like being given a puzzle and figuring it out without any picture. For every 5 Intelligence you get a 5 Training Point discount on ALL skills)
Strength 2 (How strong you are. Higher strength means more damage)
Speed 2 (How fast you are)
Spirit 1 (How well you can handle your life's energy. This number represents how many techniques you can do daily, despite difficulty. A Spirit of 1 means you can only do
ONE technique per day.)
Life: 80
Part of Stats, but Life is a base of 80, but it is increased by 10 multiplied by your Endurance. So if your endurance is 3, that means your Life is 80 + (3X10)=110. Your life is your health, not only is it your health it is also your Energy for your techniques, so it is very important.
Proficiencies: You can not know how to handle all types of weapons. See the
Weapons/Skills Thread for an explination of this.
Skills: Same with Weapons, see the
Weapons/Skills Thread for an explination of this.
Techniques: See the
Techniques Thread
And that's it!Blank Application:
