Hello fellow members and staff!

My name is Tyssa and I am a thirty year old animal control and abuse investigator and writer part time as well as a college student, going for a higher degree in veternary surgery. I have read all the Tortall series up to Terrier and am currently reading that book now. I'd have to say my favorite character thus far was Daine and thats partially because I work with the ASPCA.

For those not familiar with this organization, they rescue abused and abandoned animals, and not just cats and dogs.. wild animals and those like Horses as well. Another thing I love is riding and I have a strawberry roan named Berry that I love to pieces and go riding on my days off. I hope to get to know and befriend everyone on here that I don't know and that you can accept this old fart into your mist xP

Welcome aboard, Tyssa; I'm a senior too, of the band geek and artistic variety; resident comedian, beside Bob up there. I like to ride too, even though I don't have one, the one I ride most often is a haflinger, who is your typical, obnoxious and pretty horse. Though, I get to swap out on the other horses too, with jumping and all that jazz.
