Title: Some Practise
Description: -open-

William of Legann - October 20, 2007 01:51 AM (GMT)
Will was bored. He had nothing to do other than his homework, and that he did not want to do. After thinking for five minutes, the young page finally came up with a solution. He picked up his practise weapons and carried them to the training fields. The sun was in the west, providing enough light for Will to see. He started with his wooden sword, swinging it up and down. Sweat pored down from his eyes when he took a water break. Sitting on the ground Will heard someone come up. He looked up and saw someone coming his way. He immediately stood up and waited for the person to come close enough so that Will could see his/her face.

Tomoko of Naxen - October 21, 2007 05:34 AM (GMT)
Tomoko was dressed in her uniform, as all Pages were, the golden phoenix on the badge marking her of the Naxen Duchy. She was carring her glaive, which was a long staff with an eighteen inch blue steel blade at the end that curved at a slight angle.

Most Yamani cut their eyeteeth on them and having a Yamani mother, Moko was no different. She noticed another Page out in the field and tossed a shy wave, her deepset violet eyes focusing on him as she moved towards the part od the field not used for target practice and began to do warm up streches.

William of Legann - October 21, 2007 05:45 AM (GMT)
When Will saw that it was Tomoko of Naxen he relaxed a little. He never really talked a lot to people, but he had talked to Moko. He had thought it was a bully or some other people who did not like him and had come here to fight him.

When she waved at him, he waved back. He picked up his bow and arrows with the small bag he was carrying and walked over to where she was doing her stretches. "Hullo Tomoko. How are ya?" Will asked with a friendly smile on his face.

Tomoko of Naxen - October 21, 2007 05:54 AM (GMT)
Moko blushed when she realized she had not noticed the approach of William and only noticed his presence when he spoke to her. The smaller Page looked over to him and offered a rare smile. " Hello to you as well. I am just trying to make up for being gone last week.. stupid headaches..." She replied and those that knew the Naxen would also know of her issues with recurrent migraines and how she was a tad slow academically.

William of Legann - October 21, 2007 07:16 PM (GMT)
"Its good to have you back, Moko. It was really boring without you." Will said blushing after the words had left his mouth. He cursed himself silently for ranting like that if front of Tomoko. "Oh, How are you now?" he quickly asked to take her attention away for what he had said earlier. He knew about her migraines and a worried expression covered his face as he looked at his friend.

Tomoko of Naxen - October 21, 2007 07:36 PM (GMT)
Moko felt herself blushing as he said that, she was not used to people missing her, save maybe Cassy. She was still getting to know Jonathan and Silas so she really didn't have much on them yet. " Nice to know I was missed." She replied, smiling slightly. She was not one who did so often so to see it was a real treat. " Feeling well enough to be out here making up for lost time."

William of Legann - October 21, 2007 07:43 PM (GMT)
Will blushed when he saw that Moko had heard what he had said and he was not able to divert her attention from that. "Nice.." he said still pink in color.

He raised his hand to his eyes pretending to move his hair from his forehead and eyes. However, his hair was short and wet at that moment there was no need for what he did. Trying to change the subject her lied, "Ah! I need a haircut!"

Tomoko of Naxen - October 21, 2007 08:12 PM (GMT)
" If you cut much more off, then you won't have any left." Moko replied in a playful tone. She pulled hers out of its bun and let it fall down, touching a few inches down her back. " I want to cut mine but my mother would kill me if I did. She says I am not allowed to do so till I am at least eighteen." The Page replied, before pulling it back up into the bun.

William of Legann - October 22, 2007 02:36 AM (GMT)
William turned his back to Moko, an action to hide his embarrassment. He rubbed his hair and then turned around. "I guess..you are right" he said almost laughing. "Sorry, I was just..." saying so he stopped in the middle. He didn't want her to go to her room later and laugh at him. "You can't cut your hair!" he said shocked at what she had said later. "I would die if I can't cut mine!" Realizing that this might be considered rude he added, "Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude, it's just that I can't manage long hair"

Tomoko of Naxen - October 22, 2007 02:55 AM (GMT)
" You were not being rude. You don't have a fiery Yamani for a mother like I do. Also everyone has their own personal preferences. These differences in mind and spirit are what make us individuals." Moko replied, stopping her streches for a moment and pulling a vial from her belt pouch and downing the contents. Figuring he would ask, she decided to offer the explaination. " Medicine.. for the headaches."

William of Legann - October 22, 2007 03:06 AM (GMT)
"Yeah, I don't have a fiery Yamani for mother, but I do have young mastermind noblewomen. One who can turn my own father against me" Will told her memories flashing in his mind. "If you read Louis' last letter yo would know!" he said, thinking that since they knew each other she might be already knowing that Louis was his brother. "You.. like read my mind!" the page said when Moko told him what was in the vial.

Tomoko of Naxen - October 22, 2007 03:18 AM (GMT)
Moko smiled again, a bit more brightly than before. " My mother scares me honestly, as she does all my siblings and tends to rant on myself or my brother Surion more than anyone else. I am closer to my father than my mother. He is a very brilliant man and a desk knight by choice." She shared, putting the vial back in her belt pouch." Read your mind.. no, I simply get asked that all the time."

William of Legann - October 22, 2007 03:27 AM (GMT)
Will smiled at his friend. Moko had a good life with friends and family. His so called ego made it difficult for him to make friends and his family included only his siblings. "You are lucky" he told her, smiling broadly. "You are closer to your father!" he exclaimed. "I don't think I ever left my mother's side when I was a child." he added. The thought of him trowing tantrums and kicking people if they came to take him away from his mother got a loud laugh from him.

Tomoko of Naxen - October 22, 2007 04:07 AM (GMT)
" Only thing I have ever really come to verbal blows about with my father was me becoming a Page. He wanted me to go to the convent, much like my sisters did. But it was not for me. I hate wearing dresses, I trip over the hems too often." She replied, blushing slightly. She pondered for a moment about what it would take to get that close to her mother.. and shuddered inwardly.

William of Legann - October 22, 2007 11:53 PM (GMT)
Will chuckled at Moko's reply. She reminded him a lot of own sister, now a squire. "You are so much like my sister, Agatha. She would prefer braking a leg than wearing a dress. She didn't go to the convent either, like da wanted her to go." he said laughing.

Will started doing a couple of stretches himself, now. He needed a brake from sword practise, but if he completely stopped it would be difficult to start again.

Tomoko of Naxen - October 26, 2007 11:27 PM (GMT)
" I am often called the weird one in my family and my sisters try their darndest to get me to dress more female but its just not me. I want to do great things with my life and not let marriage and how many sons I can bare be the focus of my life. I am the master of my own destiny." Moko replied, her violet eyes seeming brighter than normal as she spoke, as it was something she was very impassioned about.

William of Legann - October 26, 2007 11:59 PM (GMT)
The page smiled at his friend. His ambitions friend, to be precise. "You will make a great lady knight, Moko." he said, his black eyes warm but full of confidence and trust. His voice was friendly and assuring. "I can bet my life on that." he added after a small pause. This time his voice sounded sure. Sure enough to convince anybody that what he had just said was true. Which it was, true. He knew Moko would do great and he could bet on that.

Tomoko of Naxen - October 27, 2007 12:14 AM (GMT)
" That is my intention. Just getting to that point though is going to be really hard and a challange, not many noble girls yet are becoming Knights. I think its because too many conservatives in the realm are afraid of their daughters getting broken or something." She added, shrugging her slender shoulders and rubbing some salve into her palms, as they were still a bit blistered. " My mother says that the Yamani beat each other half to death in daily training and that if they can handle that, I can handle being a Page."

William of Legann - October 27, 2007 12:23 AM (GMT)
"Aye" he replied in a soft normal voice. "Many girls do have problems getting into the training. Some people even start talks about them- among the villagers and some noblewomen who like to see people stressed" he said as he though all that he had heard people say about his sister, hidden under the bush or in the stable or behind a cart in the crowed village around Legann.

"Oh, of course you can it. You can handle anything what so ever. I have known to enough to know that!" he said playfully.
