Title: Too Much Thinking
Description: -open-
Jerin Charbonnet - September 14, 2007 01:57 PM (GMT)
Jerin flittered about her shop, restocking the shelves of their various salves, potions and elixers. She tried not to let things on her mind get to her, for instance the mindless yammering of her mothe in the backround about how a pretty lass like her should be out with a lad during this season. Blah.. not on Jerin's personal to-do list. She'd much rather work where it was safe and was not one whom liked to put her heart on the line.
She also was confused about a certain Rider trainee she had met and why he kept coming up in her mind. In all honesty, she did see what was to like about him but yet.. he haunted her thoughts. Ugh.. it was driving her nuts. Hearing the tinkling of the bells on the door, the Healer looked up, going into professional mode. " Can I help you?"

A girl of ten pulled thorugh the door, her hand connected to a young man, but she didn't care. It was Addy. She twirled throught the store looking at everything and then over at Jerin. "JERIN! Today is my last day here! Then I go back to teh stinky ol' farm of Pa's. But Zak brought me over to say bye. Didn't you, Uncle?" Addy went on to say as she pulled on her uncle's hand and brought him over to where she stood.
"Hey Jerin," Zakery muttered to her as he pulled his hand from Addy's, getting a pouty face from the little one, Zak raised an eyebrow, and any pouting was forgotten as Addy looked back up at Jerin and smiled. Zak rolled his eyes and leanedo n the counter, looking over at Jerin. "What a mighty nice place ya got here." He stated.

Jerin was surprised to say the least when the pair had walked in, almost tot he point of it showing on her face. But keeping her face its normal calmness, she smiled at Addy before turning to Zak. " Well Addy.. your home is somewhere special.. everyone should be happy to go back. I live just behind the store but I don't mind that.. do remember some people aren't fortunate enough to have a home." She politely told the child then turned to her uncle.
" Hello Zak. Yes.. I like it well enough... gets a bit dull sometimes but hey.. life can't always be interesting." She replied, then mulled over the statement in her head and felt like a moron.

Addy made a face, and then nodded her head, agreeing with Jerin. "I guess so. But still, the farm is reallly boring. I mean, I don't even like to farm, how come my Papa has to live out there where I don't want ta live?" She asked Jerin, making another face before gettnig a bop on the head from Zak, telling her to calm herself, and not to ask so many thigns at once. She turned to him, and he smirked down at her, she made a feace then looked back down.
"Souands... interesting." he muttered as he looked around the shop as well and then looked down at his niece, who was bounjcing off the walls, literally.

Jerin wanted to roll her eyes. He hardly seemed to notice she said anything, but then again.. this was Zak she was referring to. Deciding to focus on Addy for the moment, Jerin smiled again. " Perhaps its the best he can manage right now Addy, for instance my mother and I would love to have our own house but we have to make due with what we have till hard work and saving get us something better. Its the way of the world, youngling." She replied then looked over at Zak. " You don't come into a healer shop often do ye?" You look lost."

Addy looked excited as she glanced up and over at Jerin. Addy just nodded her head. "Yah, I know, but I'd love to live in the city. I mean, there is so much to do. So much to see each day. And on Zak's days off he can take me around. Juss like before Auntie Kaylin died. Yup. Yup." The girl exclaimed, her hyper level going out the door as she spoke. Addy began to twirl around and around, her little flimsy dress that was made by her mother, not coming out to far, seeing as it was made to fit her body and not go out like the ladies dresses up at the palace do.
Zakery looked up, a bit startled that she was actually speaking to him. He shook his head 'no'. "I need no healing. So, nay, I've never been in one before." He muttered. For it was true. If he was sick his older sister would see to it he was taken care of, or his mother. One of the two. They always got the stuf for the healing, not he.
