Sarra was supposed to be shopping for other, more important things. But she couldn't help but stop and look at a vendor selling baby blankets and toys. They were so cute! Oi this pregnancy thing was really changing her. Sarra looked down and put a hand on her stomach, which had just begun to show. Sarra sighed enviously as she stared at the toys, she wanted to buy one, but Armand wouldn't be too pleased, she had already gotten a bit carried away when doing the child's room. So she turned to leave regretfully, and caught a glimpse of a familiar face. "Leon!" She shouted, she had been meaning to talk to him ever since their little tiff.

The familar face Sarra spotted picked his head up in startlement at his name being called, and looked around until he spot Sarra and froze. He wasn't really expecting to see her, and not one to scream across crowds of people, just waved. He was really only passing through, he didn't have much to do with baby items. Rather, Leon was looking for ideas to spark inspiration for a present for his sister, brother, Kairi, and Rikash. Maybe Sarra, if they didn't get into another arguement; after all, she did tell him not to bother.

She walked up to him and smiled awkwardly. "Hi Leon. I've been meaning to talk to you." She said, before pausing to take a deep breath. "I'm sorry for what I did, it's your life, you live it how you want to. I shouldn't jump to conclusions." She said, kicking at the dirt.

Leon stopped walking once he realized that she was approaching and gaining distance. He watched her quietly, tilting his head slowly at the awkwardness of the situation, for he played with a pebble under his foot. "I shouldn't of snapped... I never do..." He admitted quietly, sticking his hands into his cloaks pocket. "It was... wrong. I'm sorry too."

Sarra smiled, relieved. "True, you did take me aback a bit when you snapped worse than a turtle, but I did deserve it." She teased. "And I'm going to try and stay out of your life." This was going to be hard but she had promised herself, though she was only trying to help, she realized that others may not see it as such.

Leon's calm gaze stayed on Sarra as she had spoken. Slowly, he nodded his head in agreement; she had gotten a little too meddlesome, he'd agree as long as she saw it as well. The man's hands stayed in his pockets, all of a sudden unsure of how to talk to her now. His blood had boiled quite horribly that day and now that he calmed down, he wasn't sure what to say. Getting angry was something he wasn't used to, responding afterwards was even more of a foreign territory.

Sarra bit her lip, she hated awkward moments. "So, are we okay? No weirdness between us?" She asked, praying it was okay. Leon was her brother. Well, he could be. She couldn't stand the thought of them being awkward around each other just because of a little spat.

Leon continued to look on at Sarra, with the same, calm, orange eyes. In response, he nodded his head. It wasn't that he didn't want to be like a younger brother to her anymore, he was just at a lost of words. Truthfully, the man was quite sure Sarralyn didn't mean everything she said; it just had hurt him a bit. The man sighed a bit as he ran his hand through his har, "What... um, are you doing in the market today, anyhow?"

Leon's nod didn't seem very reassuring but Sarra let it slide, not wanting to be a pain. "Well actually I'm supposed to be running errands, but I can't help but stop every time I see something for children, like clothes or some such." She said blushing. "This whole pregnancy has got me all out of wack." She said by way of explanation, as if she needed one."What about you?"

Leon smiled a little at Sarra and her obsessing with articles for children; he was happy to see that his friend was enjoying her pregnancy... Even though he still had yet to meet the father - a fact that irked him quite a lot. "Ah, I see... When is it due?" The atmosphere was starting to lighten up as they talked; that was all that was really need to release the tension. "I'm still shopping for gifts for Mid-winter. Remember Shannon of Mindelan? She's back, and another present needed. I still have Be and Gus, and Kairi. Rik is easy, and you and Avril..." Leon stated, shifting a stone beneath his feet.

Sarra looked down at her growing belly, placing a loving hand over it. "Sometime in late spring, early summer." She said with a smile. She couldn't wait, in fact she was a bit impatient. Sarra rolled her eyes. "Just like you Leon to wait until the last minute." She teased, though they both knew if she didn't have loving people around her to remind her, she would have forgotten...for it has happened in the past. "Shannon of Mindelan...it sounds familiar...how do we know her again?"

Leon returned Sarra's smile with a light one, "Tis a nice time of the year for a birth, I suppose." He stated, before asking, "Boy, girl? Names?" The man asked, keeping his cloak closed from a chilly wind. Simple questions really, but he couldn't help feel he asked these questions; or maybe he thought he asked them? It was too cold for his mind to work properly at the moment.

"School. " The man responded simply; he had somewhat of an idea on what to get her. "You can join me if you'd like; I was going to get some cider after shopping too. Or at least get ingredients for it."

Sarra smiled widely, Leon would be the first person she told this to. "Boy, though don't tell anyone. I don't want it getting back to Armand. He'd be obligated to tell his mother and I'm hoping the shock of having a little heir will be too much for her heart, so she can just wait for the news until the baby comes." She said, a little grin on her face. It was quite apparent that she detested her mother-in-law.

Sarra had to think a moment before it finally clicked. "Ah yes! That girl who had a crush on you." She may be scatterbrained but Sarra was also very observant, a trait which she has observed that Leon does not have.

"Sure, sounds like fun. I'll help you with presents if your willing to steer me away from anything meant for small children... I have already spoiled my child and he's not even born yet." She said with a blush.

Leon smiled a little as she announced that it would be a boy - and that she decided to tell him and not withheld the information; he'd be an adopted Uncle. It was kinda cute, and it made him feel a bit old, but thats okay. The smile widened at her comment on her mother-in-law. "You know, even if you don't want to admit, Rikash and I did influence you quite a bit."

The smile turned a bit forced; he would guess now that Shay had had a crush on him for a long time if Sarralyn knew. Then again, a long time ago he wasn't one to catch those types of things. "Yes. She told me... The other day... " Leon wasn't sure if Sarra was the right person to talk to this about, but he wanted to talk to someone - or no, he could find a way around: his journal. He'd leave it at that then.

"Good. We have a deal." As always, he politely offered his arm for Sarralyn. "Seeing how we'll be shopping for girls, I do not think we need to worry about things for a baby boy."

Sarralyn rolled her eyes at Leon. Yes, she hated to admit i, but deep down she knew it was true. "Don't go telling Leon about that, he'll get all conceited and try to change me completely." She joked about her brother, whom she missed...secretly of course. They hadn't seen much of each other lately.

Sarra's brow was raised at the news. "Ah, well do you know if she still likes you? Or did she just tell you of past feelings?" she asked, being her usual nosey self. But as long as she didn't try getting him to do something about it, then she'd be okay, right?

As she put her arm inside his, she looked up at him to smirk. "Well, who would you like to shop for first?"

Leon figured she meant Rikash when she said his name - they were tricky to tell apart when their heads were bowed in the dark. "I haven't seen much of your brother; last time was in the Library when I meet Shannon again..." A hand unoccupied came up to run through his hair as that statement seemed to lead onto the next question. "Yes. She does." The mage replied quietly, biting on his lip in thought.

It was true, though, that as long as Sarra kept quiet on what she wants Leo to do about it, nothing bad will happen. Even if she just spoke her mind on the subject, that wouldn't bother the man. Another's opinion on the subject, and besides; being outspoken was who Sarra was.

"I think I'll shop for you first, while you're hear. Then maybe Phoebe, if weapons are on the way - she mentioned something about getting a new sheath. Then Shannon - I guess something shiny would do - and for Avril, I'm not sure yet. "

Sarra frowned to herself. That was a mighty long time for someone to hold onto a crush. Though as long as Leon didn't retort the feelings, she would keep her mouth shut. Unfortunitely, Sarra didn't hear Ruveila's name in women he needed to shop for. This worried her, had something happened between them? "Are you sure that this Shannon girl won't get the wrong idea from your buying her something shiny?" She asked, as buying jewelry was usually meant to be something lovers did. It also was a round about way of asking about his status with Ruveila.
