Hey everyone, it's me, Nik.
I've been play-by-post roleplaying for a year and a few months, as of February, though I dabbled in chat roleplays for a while before they closed the Yahoo! user rooms. I think I started on a Firefly board because they needed a Zoe. To date, that's the only canon I've ever played because I'm obsessed with Firefly and she was the only character I felt I knew well enough to play. By the way, Firefly is teh awesome and if you haven't seen the series already, see it. Sure, Fox cancelled it, but Fox is a bunch of morons and they always cancel good shows, AND Firefly was so good that it was made into a major motion picture by Universal. But see the series first, else you won't care.
Since the Firefly board, I've been on various mutant-related boards, a Harry Potter board (I've only read the first three books, but it's set in the Marauder's Era, so a lot's conjecture anyway), a college board and a few vampire/werewolf boards. My interests vary, and I make lots of characters because I'm a post-a-holic and once I'm caught up, there's nothing to do except make a new character.
I've read all but the Lady Knight series as far as Tortall canon is concerned. I also saw there's a newer book that's set a bit before Alanna even began and it's about a rogue? I haven't had a chance to check it out yet. Tamora Pierce is still my favorite when it comes to fantasy, though I'm not sure I liked the Circle of Magic books half so much as I liked the ones set in Tortall.
When I'm not posting (and when's that?) I'm an entertainment fanataic. Movies, music and television, I'm all over it. I read sometimes, too, but not half as much as I used to. Everyone read House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. It's my new crack. Also, asparagus.
I also have ideas for two more characters already, so... yeah, just a warning. I think that's it. Anything else, or you just wanna talk randomly (I am ALWAYS) online, my AIM is cacophonousrage and my Y!M is xlxdeadly_nightshadexlx.

Anyway. I LOVE FIREFLY! WOOT! My Dad made me watch it with him once, I've only seen a few episodes, but I Fell in love, now i'm getting the episodes from my uncle, cause he had it downloaded or something like that. But yah. I thought I'd tell you that. >.<

Terrier is a pretty good book though I am eager to have the Numair stories come out <3 I play a few characters on here, all extentions of my zany personality. And yeah, its the Provost Dog Trilogy, with Beka Cooper; George Cooper's ancestor. She's kinda like a police person, and its like a journal of her acheivements. Tis really really good. And Keladry's series are just awesome...
