What do you think about Studio Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion???I think it's one of the very best animes ever made, also thanks to the help of (I think) the best character designer in history: Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. So, just say what you think about this anime masterpiece.

ive never seen evangelion but i will make it my mission to watch at least one episode.

Ummm... I've seen the whole series so there might be spoilers here...

My all time favorite anime. The characters are amazingly deep and although the plot is wierd, it makes you think. There's alot of psychology involved too. I wrote a psych class paper on Shinji and the teacher actaully liked it. Some people hate Shinji because of... something <_< ... he does in one of the movies. I forgive him... He's my favorite anime character after all... I HATE Gendo. The guy is sick and evil. I wish Shinji would have squished HIM instead of Kowaru. Oh, I like Kowaru too. He's so cute in a non-human sort of way.

All the characters have thier problems but there's something to like about :::ALMOST::: all of them. ( Did I mention that I HATE Gendo?)

In short, a masterpiece

totally agree with hayama...

but, the series first 15 episode is what actually regard as the best...
the team that made the frist 15 ep dump the series ( money problem some says ) and then it was given to a new team that finish it up...

fans were saying that the ending was crap and everything but I say it was fine...as it is...but of course there are defects here and there...

overall....watch it...recomended....but dont convert into their religion ( for those who know ) ...

yes some obsessed fans really make a new religion out of it...just like star wars...hm....

what I like particularly of Neon Genesis Evangelion is the complexity of the story. Sometimes you have to watch the same episode 3 or 4 times to capture every detail, but I don't think there's this big difference between the first 15 episodes and the last 10, being Hideaki Anno the director for all the series (he and Sadamoto are the ones that 'invented' Evangelion, but mostly Anno) but I agree with you (chucklehead) about the end. I think that the two movies released after the end of the series were made to calm the angry fans...but anyway it's my favourite anime so maybe I only manage to see the good things...

really like to see the world after the death and rebirth....

i saw the first two episodes of evangelon,it was cool i really enjoyed it.now im gonna try to dload the rest of the episodes,if i cant do that ill just watch them on anime network on demand.

there isn't gonna be no sequel most importantly because the chapter Evangelion has been closed for Studio Gainax at the end of the movie Death and Rebirth..and yes I was very sad as well as I knew this (right after Evangelion Studio Gainax started making Karekano)

I really like to see a sequel seeing the open ended death and rebirth...
