I write fanfics and I was curious if anyone else here did...

I personally try really hard to stick to the plot and keep characters acting like themselves. I want my story to seem like a continuation of an anime/manga.

Sometimes (and these ARE often fun to read) people put the characters in pairings or stuations outside the realm of the original anime/manga.

um... what is fanfic?... I know it's a stupid question, but I don't really know what it is... tell me and I'll vote!^^

fan fic.(short for fan fiction)are stories that anime fans make up about their favorite animes.you can find them on pretty much any anime site.i dont write fan fics.i write stories about my own animes(well,i havent written anything yet but im workin on it)and i dont read them either because sometimes i read things that...well...i dont particulary like.

Well, I like to make up my own stories and anime. So far, right now I am working on two manga.

I know what you mean. I've read stories where the grammar was so bad I didn't know what was going on. I've read stories where the author made two characters madly in love who usually wouldn't give eachother the time of day. But sometimes there are those well written, either realsitic or hilarious fics that make me happy to read. Lately I haven't had much time for reading fics though... :(

And I write original stuff too, I just don't put it on the internet based on the million to one chance that I would ever attempt to publish it. I haven't gotten very far on any one story though... I baisically have a beginning and an end to about 6 stories... how useless is that?
