Who likes Japanese Food??? Unfortunately I've never had the chance of eating any for the simple fact that it's not available here in italy and there isn't one sushi bar or japanese restaurant anywhere close to where I live. So....what do you think of Japanese Food?? especially I'd like to know what you think about raw fish (the o-so-famous SUSHI)....

unfortunatlley im in the same boat as you sosuke the closest thing i have to japanese restaurant are chinese restaurants

well...that's true for me aswell...chinese restaurants. I really really like chinese food for many reasons, and one of them is because it's quite close to Japanese food, but not really.. :( :(
you know what I also would like to try??? sashimi...

i know that with my fascination of japanese culture i should know what sashimi is but i dont so could ya tell me what it is?

Sashimi is thinly sliced, raw seafood. Many different kinds of fish (and other types of seafood). Of course, the fish has to be as fresh as possible. Sashimi can be eaten just as sashimi or as nigiri zushi, in which case the sashimi piece is put on top of a small ball of sushi rice.
Sashimi pieces are dipped into soya sauce before they are eaten. Depending on the kind of sashimi, wasabi or ground ginger is usually mixed into the soya sauce.

Well, there are lots of chinese places of course... orange chicken and pork fried rice and the like. I enjoy that. But by me, more and more japanese restaurantes are going up.
I've had sushi. I liked it! I love seafood, so I like Japanese food. My favorite Japanese food is Udon. I love the noodles! They're kinda chewy... it's wierd... way different from spagetti. I love Shirmp Tenpura too! I love shrimp, so giant, breaded shrimp is awesome! So, my very favorite Japanese food is Shrimp Tenpura Udon!

GRRRR! i need to try some japanese dishes but there are hardlly any restaurants around where i live so its find one.

the nearest japanese restaurant from my home (which is on an island...it's Sardinia, do you know it???) is about 300-400 km far away

i havent heard of that restaurant,then again i dont think i know any japanese restaurants.

i meant wheter you knew the island Sardinia...and anyway the restaurants are really far away...i've seen many programmes on tv about japanese food though!

i love sushi, i love japanese food, it's all so loveable. u guys need to find some at a grocery store or something. u r missing out. :(

i wish the grocery stores around here sold japanese food but unfortunatelly they dont so ill just have to search high and low for a japanese restaurant.

ONE normal grocery store by me sold sushi in little packages. Now I'm off at college and I'll have to find new restaurants...
